Arabella absolutely will not and is too pretty/clever/older and wiser. Not trustworthy as she could do better.
Thats why he thinks Arabella is game playing and that is why he has opted for the young chinless wonder from Essex.
I think Sophie is very pretty - arguably prettier and more stand out beautiful than Arabella. That’s all subjective of course but the fact is many guys in there find her attractive.
I don’t think it’s a stretch to think Chris might genuinely have a crush on her. If he was purely looking for naivety he may have targeted Libby from the start.
I think Chris is quite arrogant though and doesn’t like being called out on his behavioir at all which is why he went off at Arabella when she pulled him up on stuff though. He is not necessary a bad guy but the fame and popularity went to his head. This series hasn’t been great for his image at all as people have seen a very different side of him.

I do think Arabella never really liked him though and those tears are more about injured pride that the “safe bet” dropped her so quickly. Toby is much more her type I think.
Sophie having a moderately famous half-sister isn’t a big pull I think, it’s a rather roundabout connection to fame - I mean it’s not as if she’s even managed to get herself any presenting gigs from it.
It would possibly be different if it was someone like Gemma Owen ie. The child of a legendary footballer where there was a more clear level of status to be unlocked in dating her.
