Love Island All Stars...how will it work?

Just thinking most ex-islanders know each other i.e. attend same events, work for the same brands, have the same talent management etc so will it not be a bit awkward putting them together in a villa to build connections when they sort of already know each other?

She just comes across as a dimwit with that voice and it really irritates me. Doesn’t make her a bad person. Just really annoying <to me>. It’s a babyish affectation and is so unnecessary.

Chris is a fool for leaving Arabella

I find Arabella too full of herself but i do think she has a point with Chris. He was full on with her until Sophie arrived then had done an about turn. It's hard not feel hurt when someone's kissing you etc in bed and then switches off. Fair enough he was honest with her but kept on at her in the same breath all babyish saying don't be sad as if she'd got to reassure him she wasn't to make him feel better.
That chat between them in the evening felt like he'd had a complete personality change and was quite harsh. Complete contrast to the boyish self deprecating humour he usually shows.

Chris is in lo ove!! It's so interesting to see that he doesn't crack any jokes around Sophie- he's so earnest instead

Absolutely this. He was doing the whole “look how calm and measured I am whilst you’re screaming like a lunatic” thing which is designed to put you on the back foot. When he asked her to dial it down when she was getting visibly upset I wanted to slap him.

Chris is coming over as someone who is insecure and feels the need to bag the girl everyone wants, hence being too full on with Molly. Sophie is beautiful but too thick for him and she’s not going to be interested in him. Soon as the next one comes in he’ll be sniffing around after them.

Its perfectly fine to hold ones counsel and not commit to one person after a few days, of course. But he gets straight into being full on with snogging, hugging, oversharing, then suddenly goes cold and is baffled as to why they’re upset. He’s a tool.

On the first day all the girls were lining up for Chris, a couple of days later they were not.

Add to that he's shot his shot early with multiple women for it all to come to nothing.

And then by being a condescending prick to Arabella lost public support. All round bad choice to come back, I think he's played a really bad game.

@jay55 yep totally agree with you. I have always really liked Chris. But the moment he got pushy with Molly and pulled her for a chat/kiss when she looked like a rabbit in the headlights after the row with Callum I started to revise my opinion on him. He’s just going from bad to worse. Dud move on his part!

I have a theory about Chris. He's an insecure joker who was probably the school geek and lost out on the girls. He had a bit of a glow up as he got older and realised humour could win them over. He feels completely intimidated by women like Arabella who are confident, astute and can see right through his performance. He wants a less intelligent silly partner who will be in awe of him and not an equal.

The only flaw in your theory @alivio is that he had a fairly long term relationship with Maura who I think we can all agree doesn’t suffer fools gladly and is very capable of sticking up for herself!

Apologies if already mentioned but Chris came in fairly late last time and didn't really connect with anyone so we didn't see how he treated anyone

Absolutely vile he is. Showed his true colours at last! His cheeky chappy, oh-so-funny, 'aren't I a bit of a lad' thing he has had going, has been grating on me, and I wasn't sure I was buying it anyway. Seemed over the top and a bit fake to me, as well as irritating. Now he has outed himself as a massive arsehole. Vile man. Arabella is waaaay out of his league. Gorgeous lass who can do sooooo much better.

I think the Scottish guy (Anton?) is lovely, and don't know why the girls don't seem to be into him. He is cute, and seems nice. I wonder if he has really bad B.O. or bad breath? ie something we are not picking up from just watching the show?

This. ^ Chris seemed to have had a personality transplant, and he was horrible to Arabella. So cold and harsh. I pity any woman who is ever in a relationship with him. He gives narcissistic, gaslighting, controlling 'stop being hysterial wumman' vibes.

The way he bleated 'why are you getting angry/upset etc' just narked me off. As did him saying 'don't be upset, awwwwwwww, don't be upset,' (as he stuck out his bottom lip in a mock pout, and tilted his stupid head! It made my stomach churn, and my blood boil, in equal measures.

I was so disappointed with Chris last night, having liked him up till now.
He was so disrespectful to Arabella, he wasnt listening to a word she said, huge red flag there, i couldnt believe it! He seriously needs to grow up

I think that Chris showed a really horrible and cruel side then. He looked at her as if he absolutely despised her, with no empathy at all. I think he is a man who actually hates beautiful women.

who do we think the boys will pick? It looks like Chris given the first choice but he’s ended it with Arabella and Sophie picked already. Maybe Kaz as a friendship couple?

I've had the same thought process as I've seen it before with the class geek turned nasty bloke (my ex, among others) I think it comes from insecurity and learned behaviour.

Some of his language and behaviours have been awful. He is awkward at best, and quite misogynistic at worst. I think I've seen more than enough of his true colours.
