Just thinking most ex-islanders know each other i.e. attend same events, work for the same brands, have the same talent management etc so will it not be a bit awkward putting them together in a villa to build connections when they sort of already know each other?

I agree @Twonewcats - it was fair banter "on paper" but I think his delivery had a slightly vitriolic edge?
Because he was pissed off about being chosen as boring, and then also he was almost trying too hard to prove them wrong instantly?
Which is why it didn't quite come off and genuine offense was taken?

He reminds me of a really lovely old friend who would try and do jokey banter and it would just came off nasty, because it just wasn't him so he took it too far and just came off wierd!

I think Anton is generally a sweetheart but I think there is a bit of an undertone of passive/aggrrssive to him. I recall that in his series that him and Molly Mae famously didn’t get on (remember the “made your bed now lie in it” comment) and at the time it was thought that his dislike of Molly Mae came from him initially being interested and attracted to her and her rebuffing him for Tommy. But generally I think he’s probs a bit of a try hard and that probably puts girls off.

I think that's a Scottish tone thing as much as anything.
He's a friend of a friend, and honestly, I've never heard anyone say anything even close to negative about him. He's very well liked 😍

I don't get her interest in Toby? He's 24, quite emotionally immature and too short for Arabella. I'm baffled.

I read she was 28 maybe that’s when she first went in?! Even then I was surprised but 32 I know age is just a number but Toby comes across as so immature to me!

Toby must have way, way better chat on the outside than he's ever displayed in the villa.

I can't see how Toby out of all of them would be a good fit if she's looking for someone to settle down with and have kids. And to be fair, early 30s, if she's wanting a family now is the time to get serious about someone. But somehow I can't see Toby being it

She's not there to find the father of her children! Arabella is getting paid £££ and raising her profile.

I've never understood the attraction to Toby, not only not particularly attractive but boring too

I also like the way Hannah is with the girls.
I hate how insecure the other girls are getting. The villa with the lack of anything to do but obsess over the guys really brings out the worst.

Molly still loves Callum but she needs grand gestures and commitment, not a half-arsed, lackadaisical approach. Callum needs to wise up or he'll lose out.

Molly and Callum need to call it a day. They're clearly not meant to be. It's not meant to be difficult- you're meant to make each other happy
