Yes, there’s something strange about Tom. Not helped by the fact he’s such a wooden actor. What was all that nonsense about when he got beaten up and his new car stolen? The suggestion was that he knew the assailants. It was all forgotten about. Gone to the pile of storylines that came to nothing.

Maybe his car is in a police pound somewhere along with the pharmacy van with the tied up driver in the back. We were concerned for Mack’s bladder but think how that poor guy must be feeling 😆

Actors who play Tom and Heath are stealing a living from this

Sure they might as well if they can get away with it. It's all so bad we barely heed them.

I'd forgotten about Tom's car "theft". Do the writers have selective amnesia where they forget they've started a story.
