I was thinking when Wendy said to Bob she understood how it felt to lose a child there are so many bereaved parents in the village. That’s Bob’s second child, Brenda’s daughter, Liam’s daughter, Moira’s daughter, Chas and Paddy’s daughter. That’s just the ones I can remember.

Yes there have been an awful lot of Robert references recently after no mention of him for years. I hope the writers are not just teasing us.

If and it's a big if that Robert comes back I hope it's really dramatic, like a few years ago when Adam (the tool that he was) was about to do something really stupid and out of the blue Aaron is at the front of his car, hands on the bonnet staring at him, with a look that said "don't be a tosser mate" it was great and back when we liked Aaron.

Yes, we inadvertently followed one last year in North Yorkshire, we were driving through a village we had to stop to let a hearse turn right out of a church.The vicar and dozens of mourners followed it on foot to the churchyard which was about 2 miles from the church.

The misery is getting too much for me - Eric's Parkinsons, Heath's funeral, now Chas!
