Did David adopt Jacob or he is stepfather who Jacob decided to stay with when Alicia left ?

I don't think any adoptions took place in either case as far as I can remember but I'm not 100 percent

It would be an interesting twist if they discovered Theo is Jacob’s son.

I didn’t think Brenda adopted the twins, just became a mother figure to them but like @JaneJeffer, I could be wrong as well

Fandom is telling me that the only adoption Brenda did was with Gennie and that she was a mother figure to the twins

Totally forgot about Amba. And when reminded here, I thought David did have a third, but changed my mind and still disregarded Theo.

Don't want any reason for David to return. Couldn't stick him the last few years.

I found David a very annoying character. Thought he was God's gift but sadly he wasn't. I can't remember him arriving in the village but I had quite a while when I gave up watching.

I think he is and David and Liam covered it up and said David was Theo's dad.

I went right off David when he treated Tracey so dreadfully.

He treated most people dreadfully.

He caused so much of his own troubles by being a selfish idiot, and he never learned from his mistakes. But the perpetual self pity was what I disliked most about him.

He was a bit of an arse but he had his moments. After Alicia left his character went downhill.
