It's so noticeable when we see real actors doing their job. Bob and Brenda moved me to tears. Sadly there are very few others in the cast worth of the title actors - I often wonder how they got their parts - in that they were thought the best of the auditionees. WTF were the rest like?

It's a rare new recruit who can match the established cast for acting ability yet they seem to be given precedence with storylines while the others are given nonsense or used as filler.
