They do their dances from the TV show.

I assumed that. But some of them did 13 diff dances, so wondered if they chose the dances themselves.

It tends to be their most significant /well remembered dance of the series. Not sure who chooses.

I imagine there’s got to be some element of producer/director choice to ensure a balanced show - if it was just left up to the couples you might just end up with a load of charlestons or whatever.

Surely they do their best ones. To make it a good show.

Layton just announced on IG that he and Nikita are going to be holding LAKITA dance workshops in late January/early February. Ages 18+ and then ages 7-17. In case there are any Lakita fans here who are interested for Christmas gifts :)

Merry Christmas to everyone. I have really enjoyed watching along with you this year, though I missed the final two weeks as was visiting family overseas. Not watching the Xmas special, but festive wishes and a happy new year to all!
