I can't think of a better one. Abbie Clancey's week 1 Waltz scored very highly - 32 I believe - and I think maybe Hamza got the same in his first dance last year too. And also Kelvin's "lunchbox has landed " week 1 samba got 32 I think. AJ was just perfection, though, different league to be able to Jive like that in week 1.

Very pleased for Ellie and Vito. Such a shame about her last showdance lift. Vito went a bit too ambitious with the choreography. I thought she recovered well, I would have gone to pieces and couldn't have pulled off that AS so soon afterwards.

For me she was consistent through the series. She did both great ballroom and great latin dances. Lots of contestants have a weakness for either ballroom or latin.

I imagine she and Vito will be shagging furiously tonight, assuming he can stop talking for a while. Lucky girl.

Robin, except he can be Humphrey on Halloween. Doing a Quickstep to Queen's Don't Lose Your Head, where he kicks his own head around the dance floor.

The follow up line: "damn your head, shoulders, knees and toes too" is one of the funniest lines ever.

Pat would have to dance to 'Shoot that poison arrow', Mary to 'Burn baby burn' and Thomas to 'You give love a bad name'

I'd like to see Nella from I'm a Celebrity in it. It would be entertaining at least...

I’ve just finished and I feel very disappointed that Bobby didn’t win.

Before the show I thought I’d be happy whoever won out of Ellie and Bobby but based on the dances tonight I felt Bobby deserved it more. Sadly, Ellie left me feeling very underwhelmed.

She’s been the favourite to win for ages so I can’t say I’m surprised she won, but based on their dances tonight I thought Bobby was more deserving.

Bobby totally made the show for me tonight!! He’s so lovely, genuine, enthusiastic and joyful and it makes him a pleasure to watch.

I hope Bobby at least came second 😂

I really loved Strictly Dance Fever and was so disappointed when they stopped after two series. I still remember one of the couples - Cem and Gemma - as clear as day because my 5yo son (he's now 23 lol) absolutely loved them. On the night they were voted out, my son cried himself to sleep.

I'll put a video of their charleston in the video post, in case anyone wants to see it. They were so entertaining.

@SaraBarca1 - I prefer the spiky excellence of Layton but he was way too divisive to ever win. Admittedly he's not a warm and cuddly character and has way too much of an edge to win the majority vote

But he was a PROFESSIONAL DANCER before this. That's not what Strictly is about.

Patrick Sewing Bee is a fan, I can just see him in a tails suit. Though maybe Hed be in giving Vicky giggles a few tips.
