I only broke my finger. The fracture clinic were most put out when they saw me 11 days later and I turned down a sick note! I’d actually finished my day at work after I did it then driven myself to A&E so it seemed a bit pointless by then 😂

It must be quite nice for all four to dance with less pressure/the pressure off though. Yes, the marks still count but they can perform like in week 1 knowing they're all through. That must be quite freeing.

When I broke my shoulder I got codeine but that was because someone went up to a nurse and said "Will you look at the poor woman, she's in agony, give her some pain relief for god's sake!" and they did.

Have a little bit of abdominal surgery and you (well I did) get sent home with a bottle of liquid morphine. Can recommend. Not the surgery but the drugs!
