It is a shame that Angela didn't get to do her CC - I was expecting an AJ-style take on it. It hardly seems fair that a week 10 contestant hasn't done CC when couples that went out ages back did (both Adam's and Krishnan's were pretty dire too)

Craig hasn't given any 10s yet, I don't think?

@AirFryerFrequentFlyer no he hasn't, on tonight's show Claudia gave out the fun statistic that it's the latest he's never given out a 10 in 4 years!

I just caught up now. I think a lot of posters predicted what would happen. I'm a bit disappointed for Angela. I know it wasn't her best night but if she'd been up against someone else, she might have made it through. She had no hope against Layton.

Oh well, I love musicals night so I'm looking forward to next Saturday. Seems like there are very few celebs left at this point. But I know we would have had one more if Amanda hadn't pulled out.

I was really looking forward to a full on Irish dance CC from SAngela complete with training VT of her shouting 'stop moving your arms/body/head' at Carlos.

I blame Carlos for the choreography this week, it was an odd CCC. Outcome was inevitable, do not want to see Layton do a rhumba that would just be odd!
Do we reckon Diane is going to try for the Dirty Dancing lift?? Although a fall from that height would be lethal....to be fair Pash and Ashley did a fabulous version.

I also don't believe Ange did primarily to act as a role model for her daughters - she did it for the same reason they all do, cold, hard cash and raising your profile! Colour me cynical.

Couple's Choice was introduced in series 16.
Lauren and AJ did the first ever one to Runnin' then Chucky did his street commercial to James Brown. Faye did jazz to Fever in Halloween week. Stacey did street/commercial to New York state of mind and pretended to snog Kev behind a hat. Ashley made Shirley cry with her contemporary (Ashley's father killed himself/Shirley's brother killed himself). Graeme did a theatre/jazz number to The Trolley song in Blackpool. Joe did what was the worst of that series with a street number to Jump Around. Blame Dianne.

I thought Angela did, couldn't for the life of me spot the mistake alluded to by Anton; but Layton's was better the first time imo- and wasn't he apologising profusely to Nikita the second time, when they hugged before coming off the floor? I'm sure I heard him say I'm sorry, I'm sorry, and Nikita reply, it's all right...?

Watch the opening pro number - imaginative, funny, great story telling - back to their best after, tbh, a really disappointing series of pro dances overall this year imho.

Ange was better but I just noticed Layton didn't stumble and it seemed smoother - maybe just seeing it a second time.
I had bad insomnia yesterday hence the number crunching.
