That was nice to have an uneventful and happy birth. A rare event in soapland. There seemed to be a lot of that episode padded out with pointless waffle. Kim pissed/hungover and sleeping in the chair all night for example.

Even more amazing that Dawn had a nice story for once

Well I've spent a whole five minutes reviewing the Emmerdale year, yes that's as long as it took, and I'm declaring that my favourite people in Emmerdale are.............drum roll..........Dawn and Billy 😊💐

Many soap births have umbilical free newborns. The Xmas village scene was full of extras and fairground attractions plus the two old plodders Torvill and Dean ( I love them really!) which must have used up a lot of the budget but they didn't have a spare quid for a piece of curly rubber tubing.

Other than that the birth was rather nice but of course happy times are rare in Kim's house so let's see what drivel the script writers are scribbling now. 😐

Good to see Aaron being nice for once. The birth was brilliant, I've been so nervous thinking it wasn't going to end well, but Billy and Willy singing as Dawn heads to the pool... nah.
Also wondering how the clean up operation is going to go there.
Hope the happiness for Dawn and Billy continues. Despite her covering up a murder and him a hit and run. Let that bit of amnesia remain.

Even if she didn’t have parents around, wouldn’t Gus have friends of his own to help and guide him instead of Rhona and Mary?
