For a few short hours I am up to date with Emmerdale. Nasty, controlling Gangster Dad. I was wondering if they were gearing up to a coercive control story line with Tom and Belle. When Chas talked about Tom "needing to feel appreciated" I thought it might be introducing the idea that Belle has to change her behaviour to keep him happy.
