Here we go again. All aboard the Emmerdale train.

The only thing worth mentioning is that Matty has told Mack that Amy knows exactly where Chloe is and has been lying to everyone. Matty told Mack not to say anything to anyone but he's already told Charity and now they've made plans to follow Amy tomorrow. So looks like we're going to have to endure more Chloe and there's going to be major rowing and no doubt "scenes of distress".

Oh and Moira thinks it would be a good idea to have a lovely family Christmas with Amy joining them and Mack at the farm. That's the Christmas day barney sorted then.

A quick question if you please. Does the girl who had Samson's baby (Esther) live in the pub? She seems to have gone awol along with the baby. Does Chas also live there with Charity? Is Mack there too? I just can't keep up these days.

Yes Amelia lives in the pub. Charity has her own house Shephard's Fold.

@DaisyStarburst I fell asleep on the sofa even before it started and was dead to the world for hours but when I awoke DS1 had made dinner so that was good. I have a horrible cold thing with added stomach ache 🤒

I was reminiscing to myself last night about how good the Ashley story was compared to all this bunkum these days.

I'm worried Amelia is stuck in the Woolpack toilets as she seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth and was absolutely no support to Lydia in her time of crisis after everything Lydia has done for her and Esther.

Also, what happened to gangster Harry?? Presume he's stuck on the Hotten bypass with Alex, Callum and his mum and the van drivers (one Alex robbed and one who caused Chloe's cliff top fall).

I think Dawn will have a Christmas day baby. All the soap babies are born at Christmas.

They're only doing a half hour episode on Christmas Day so I don't think it'll be very entertaining.

It must have been a truly shit episode last night as I didn't feel there was anything worth commenting on.

As @PrincessScarlett said, so many forgotten characters and loose ends. The story of Gail's child seems to have stopped and I'd almost forgotten Bear's existence till he popped up last night.

The writers must have run out of ideas. At last! No doubt it will be half an hour of shouting.

Christmas Day episode prediction [not related to above]:

Bunfight at Moira's. Mac and Amy yelling at each other. Chloe dramatic entrance with bairn. Chloe droops around a bit. Mac collars her and suggests they get back together without delay. Charity shit fit. ☃

I was just talking to my teenage granddaughter at the weekend about Ashley’s dementia storyline and how well it was done. Not that she is remotely interested in Emmerdale but we’d been chatting about dementia and how it affected someone in the family.

I am numbing myself with wine in anticipation of tonight. Have not watched the last few so can't even give a bingo guess.
