I think that Nikita was attempting to show that Layton can do ballroom, hence changing between v waltz and foxtrot and not doing much in the way of out of hold. I get what he was doing and it wasn't bad at all, it just showed his weaknesses.

I ahven't seen green that shade since about 1987.
