I think Kai is lovely, but agree he doesn't seem like he was born in 1995!

I always think his sleeve tattoo looks really anachronistic.

Certainly means we're not ageist!

Its a competition so being judgy is part of it.. great to hear you're never critical of anyone ever though!

Angela's speech was lovely, and I'm glad that she loved her Strictly experience.

Angela R did so well. She should be very proud of herself

Just look back over the thread-I think you'll find it's not nearly to the same extent. Some of the criticism was perfectly valid but some clearly ageist and mean.

There’s a difference between judging and being vicious. Some posters (not all) seem not to know the difference

Bobby and Diane are both gorgeous. He reminds me of being like a cross between Michael Caine as Alfie and the young Mick Jagger, he moves like the latter too.
Diane looked lost for words waiting for the dreaded judges' verdict, really emotional.
Would like either Bobby or Nigel to win.

I love Claudia, she doesn’t take herself seriously and she’s hilarious.

Rankings in my view are currently:
Layton
Ellie
Angela
Nigel
Bobby
Annabel

It's touch and go if it will be Angela or Nigel who make the final. It depends on the semi final dances and how well they connect with voters. I suspect Nigel might struggle to learn two dances in a week whereas Angela will be like a machine so end up higher on the semifinal leaderboard.

I felt Bobby danced significantly worse second time around. Not sure I would have saved him based on that alone, even against Angela.

Bobby knew he’d been lucky!

I think Ellie is better than Layton at this point, because Layton still isn't listening and toning it down to dance in a partnership. That seems to be really hard for him to learn. So while he's obviously an excellent dancer, he's not an excellent partner and that's letting him down.

I think Annabel is better than Bobby and Nigel at ballroom, but at the bottom of the list for Latin.

But agree that there's no obvious next boot, which makes it more fun!

Also re the dance off: Bobby's dance had so many more steps and much more difficult choreography than Angela's, so even though he made quite a few mistakes he was still the one who should have been saved. Angela's dance was a lot of - elegant - walking around.

I think it was the right time for Angela to go, but I don't think it was too late — I think (apart from maybe Adam) she was better, or as good as, all the ones who've gone so far.

In some weeks I think she could have knocked out some of the ones still in (week/dance dependent).

I definitely agree with the decision but Bobby really lost it in his dance off. Of course it was a much more difficult dance than Angela's but he just looked exhausted and messed up a few times. Beautiful goodbye speeches from Angela and Kai

I like everyone left, even Layton who I know is quite marmite. I didn't like his CC dance last night, thought it was really boring, but there is no denying his talent.

I love Claudia! She makes fun of herself as well as the other contestants (in a nice way) and I think she is a hoot. Can't wait for the next series of Traitors!!!

Ellie was the best this weekend I think.
Layton trying too hard.
Annabel, Angela S and Nigel all great too though Nigel made mistakes.
I love watching Bobby too though he’s not a natural. The right six are left.
