Just noticed thread was running out. So - thought I might be organised for once.

And well done to Joe Salisbury And Rajeev Ram (who have had a rubbish year)but have just won in Vienna.

But I knew I loved Catherine, even more so if she is anti- Greg .

(I like Freg, Fizzy it might stick).

I didn’t watch the match but well done Sascha. Carlos needs to improve his form though, doesn’t he know the entire tennis loving public is counting on him to beat Djokovic?

Ice there is a lot of pressure on him, and he needs to be fit to make an impression on Australia for the first time really .

I really can't deal with Djok winning there again

Just checking in on this evening's match- Andrey sporting a black headband after a season of a bright orange one.

Not sure I have the stamina to watch much of this.

Andrey's t-shirt seems to be covered in white bits. Can't tell if it's a design feature, or fluff.

They are both extremely sweaty, for an indoor tournament in November. What temperature have they got the heating on?

I've decided the white bits are the pattern on Andrey's shirt. And they are a bit odd.

I didn't see the second set of the match last night, but by all accounts, Andrey fell apart, and got quite emotional.

The final score seems a bit one sided. It is a shame that Andrey gets like that - and awkward when it's Daniil he's playing, really, though they are both pros on court.

Before the match, I saw a clip of him playing with Daniil's daughter, he seems to be training her up to be a ball girl . Very cute.

Stef and Holger today- I might miss most of that, which is a shame- can't really call it - Holger ha won their previous 2 meetings- last year. Obviously Greg/Freg thinks Stef is now Rubbish, and Robbie thinks Holger is Mr Fidget so, who knows how the match will pan out .

Poor Andrey - he’s so lovely to everyone else - he needs to be kinder to himself

You would think that Greg’s with all his psychology expertise would have recognised Djok’s psychopathic tendencies by now

I’m not sure how much I’ll see this afternoon - I’m at the hairdressers which always takes ages! I’m also seeing a different hairdresser so hopefully I’ll not have to wear a hat for the next month <slightly worried >

I'm out for shopping and lunch with my mother later. I am not great at shopping for me, so she has to force me out .

I do really feel for Andrey, he gives himself a very hard time. It must be difficult for him- last night they were saying how,as juniors, he was the much better player. Daniil was tall and gangly (still is ) and it took him longer to grow into his game. Now, he is a couple of steps ahead of Andrey and it seems to come a bit easier- and when things slip a bit, he doesn't let it get to him as much.

Alisa is very cute little girl, waddling about in her snow suit. She looks a lot like Daniil- minus the goatee beard .

I’m glad that Alisa hasn’t got a goatee beard - I wonder if she’s got any of Daniil’s mischievousness?

It's lovely for the Russians to have their own little family on tour. I wonder if they're able to go home or would they risk being drafted?

I got home a bit early and saw that Stef retired in his match against Rune? Not sure why, but I know there were injury rumours prior to the tournament starting.

I've just seen that after wondering where the match was!

Is Hubi/Taylor live or what is happening?!

I have had to go back out, so not sure what is happening now, but I think Stef has withdrawn totally , and Hubi will be taking his place tomorrow (as alternate) against Djok.
Might be wrong though.

So Taylor is also injured and this replacement match isn't going great

So they're just going to play one set. I don't know how they'll entertain the crowd after that. Maybe Holger can come out and do some ballet or something.

Hubi is having a whale of a time

oh dear, it all sounds about as organised as the WTA finals.

They should get the gymnasts back. Very disappointing for the afternoon crowd though. Do they have an alternate alternate?!

Oh Stef and Holger played three games so at least those women got to see him I suppose.

The crowd is not happy with the situation!

Stef said his doctors told him to play but he just wasn't able and he's very upset about it.
