I’m not going to be able to watch the final but really hope that Grigor can at least give Djok a hard time and would really love to see him win but don’t think realistically that will happen. Grigor was so happy with his win yesterday - hope he doesn’t feel like he’s done enough just to get to the final

The fireworks were a bit of a damp squib last night (literally) - some were so soggy they wouldn’t light - of course it’s dry and sunny here today

I had some time off from tennis - and caught up on some scores- congratulations to Iga ,who proved that wearing a red dress didn't ruin her chances at the WTA finals. A typical Iga final- she thrashed poor Jess Pegula 6-0 6-1.

The organisation of the finals has come into stick (again) , as it is overlaps with the Billie Jean King Cup- it has meant some player who qualified for both, have had to chose one over the other, or cut it fine to make both.

I just thought everyone was in a deep depression after Djok’s win Raahh

Well done to Iga - apparently some players are having real difficulties getting from Cancun to Seville with one player asking if anyone could loan them a private jet so no not great planning!

I’ve just switched on the tennis - it’s from Moselle - just in time to see our Fabio win against Seyboth-Wild (I’d forgotten about him!) Domi is playing in a bit and someone called Harold (who I’ve never heard of )
