Sarah's face looked. " dirtier" in the flashbacks and at hospital than it was when she was outside the pub or sitting on the ambulance

My main takeaway from this episode is that David is a gem of a character who they should retain at all costs. His comic delivery is spot on.

Rest of the episode was entertaining, vaguely ludicrous, but weirdly unfulfilling.

Yes I thought that. Some of them looked like they had been in a fire or landslide in those flash backs. I thought the Rovers was going to collapse or something.

I thought that Jenny had managed to get a little away from Stephen? Then Peter ran him down - I looked away and missed it!

To be fair to Peter, I’m not sure that Stephen had dropped the bottle and he just saw him heading over to a group of people brandishing a lethal weapon. That said, I expect he just wanted to run him over regardless.

I don't think he could see that Jenny had stepped back, from his angle, he can see Stephen brandishing a bottle at Jenny but not the distance between them as Stephen is in the way, a split second decision to hit him, going not THAT fast as if he were going flat out, he'd hit someone else too (Jenny?! No guarantees she'd jump clear if shes focused on the man brandishing a bottle!)... seems pretty excusable stuff in the circumstances!

DC Stroppy Knickers is going to be really pissed shes failed to catch Stephen though so she'll be gunning for anyone she can take down and Corrie is full of wrong uns shes failed to nail, so if she can pin this on someone, Peter, Tim, Carla... Gary (who wasnt even there but i think if there was a way she'd find it!)... anyone'll do!

Poor Tim, stuck in the car til Monday - you'd think the dog walker would at least call the cab company and say 'eh up why is one of your cabs abandoned int woods with a window put through?!'... I don't blame them for not investigating, we all know its dog walkers that find nasty shit in the woods, I'd certainly swerve it given the chance but I would ring!
