Audrey guilt tripped him by saying his father would have and how he is not a chip off the old block ...or something like that.

WiddlinDiddlin · 24/10/2023 04:19

Audrey, showing exactly where Stephen got his manipulative genes from, guilt tripped soppy old George!

I spotted DS StroppyKnickers in The Long Shadow tonight too (and a few others... one who who is dead in Corrie-land and t'other banged up I think!)..

Deadringer · 24/10/2023 08:59

I was amazed George stood up to Audrey, after being brave enough to say no to her face I can't really understand why he backed down after. Mind you i don't really understand why he refused in the first place, everyone who dies needs to be buried/cremated, whatever the circumstances.

Sam booking a table at the bistro for hope and him cringey twee rubbish !!

Hellendegenerate · 24/10/2023 10:03

I haven't seen last night's rubbish but will watch at some point today. Until recently I wouldn't read the comments here until after tuning in to my planner but not any more. Looks like I am in for a treat. Shuttleworths shenanigans, Sam being cringe worthy again, life on your average Northern street with several invisible children, spooky. 👿😱

Itham · 24/10/2023 10:33

I can't help thinking that most of Corrie's kids being invisible is a plus.

Sam and Hope together gives me the heebie geebies.

greengreengrass25 · 24/10/2023 12:10

Sam's forgotten about Eliza

Daffodilsandtuplips · 24/10/2023 12:28

I hope Audrey (or the screenwriters) realise there will be a police presence at the funeral. Or should be if they get it right..
There was at a funeral in our town for a murderer, he’d died in prison after being inside for years. Police told the family it was routine in case any of the victims families decided to take revenge out on the murderers family.
So it might not be as private as she wants it to be.

Sam's forgotten about Eliza

Lets hope the writers have!

Well said Hlendegenerate
I stopped watching this rubbish about two years ago.I just came on here to read the comments and realise how stupid Coronation Street is getting
Sam gave me the creeps when he first appeared. It seems he has not changed.
Who on earth dreamed him up? Also the ridiculous quads story

Findyourneutralspace · 24/10/2023 21:39

Who’s Lauren scared of?

AutumnCrow · 24/10/2023 21:41

Findyourneutralspace · 24/10/2023 21:39

Who’s Lauren scared of?

The scriptwriter

Sux2buthen · 24/10/2023 22:29

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2023 20:39

Someone needs to cast DS Swain and Roxy from Eastenders as sisters

That's while she reminds me of, Thankyou!

Sux2buthen · 24/10/2023 22:29

*who

Hellendegenerate · 24/10/2023 23:27

Unless there's something I have missed isn't Lauren in debt to a drug dealer and he keeps increasing her debt?

Also, is Tim turning into a nasty piece of work and developing a violent streak? He's obviously been severely mentally damaged by his ordeal but hopefully he won't start being abusive to Sally. I'm probably way off the mark anyway 😕

Optimist1 · 24/10/2023 23:33

Admittedly I wasn't paying 100% attention to tonight's episode, but could someone explain what Dee Dee's new bloke is up to?
TIA Smile

eggandonion · 24/10/2023 23:42

Tim has a brain injury like Nick had. It will soon be forgotten like Davids epilepsy and Maxs adhd.
I reckon Lauren owes money to Damon or Damien who Sarah had the fling with. Adam will just realise he loves her and then Damien or Damon will reappear. Although Jacob should return. I mostly ignore drugs and money stuff though.

EachandEveryone · 25/10/2023 00:25

Dee’s boyfriend gives me the chills. What is he up to?

WiddlinDiddlin · 25/10/2023 05:59

Dunno but he definitely is, hes FAR too nice and getting far too involved far too quickly to be a good egg!

Jitterybugs · 25/10/2023 08:24

EachandEveryone · 25/10/2023 00:25

Dee’s boyfriend gives me the chills. What is he up to?

He gives me the creeps just looking at him. Can’t make up my mind if he’s cold and calculating or just a wooden actor. Looks like Dee won’t pick up on his bad vibes as she’s too busy fluttering her eyelashes and being all giggly in his presence.

Neverinamonthofsundays · 25/10/2023 09:35

I am wondering what bad boy thing he is going to do. It cant be drugs or murder cos thats been done, literally to death recently so i wonder is he a scammer maybe?

Clawdy · 25/10/2023 09:38

He must be a genuine solicitor though, he was at the police interview?

Findyourneutralspace · 25/10/2023 09:55

Corrupted by the criminals he’s defended maybe?

Highlandsprocker · 25/10/2023 10:10

I think he is far to interested in Ed and Ronnie, probably going to involve them in some sort of scam.
BTW when I bought my first flat , half way through my solicitor was arrested and ended up in prison so had to find a new one 😱
