I don't get the point of the thread. There were tonnes of massive tv stars throughout the 70s/80s, while I was growing up, who naturally don't have the same relevance now because it's 40 feckin years later

Whatever happened to him? It seemed one minute he was the biggest star on TV and the next, he was gone.

Irrelevant or lower profile? Some of the people named are still around a lot, I see Gabby Logan on TV all the time.

Some people did seem be very everywhere for a whole. I nearly did a Google on Melinda Messenger yesterday when I saw her name somewhere. Have also looked up Nick Berry recently.

Michael Barrymore. He is now on tik tok with lots of posts, a lot from clips from his past tv shows, watching them now in present times a lot of the questions asked, especially to the children on his show "kids say the funniest things" are inappropriate and sexual, always asking them if they have a boyfriend/girlfriend and questions about their parents sex life. He was was quite a bully and arrogant in his hay day, as a child I idolised him and thought he was so funny but looking at the clips I think he's quite horrid.
