Carefully phrased doco about the death of actor Mark Blanko in 2006.

Featuring that other ubiquitous scenester of the UK hipster crowd of the 2000s who the guardian and far too many others were convinced was the New Lord Byron (TM)

Sheila Blanco wants justice for her son, Mark, who was at a house party with the singer on the night he tragically fell from a block of flats in East London

I hope Pete Doherty never gets the opportunity to perform in this country again. It’s disgusting how he behaved. I’m actually horrified he played at the Albert Hall when he behaved like this. Management there need to think about their decisions.

Like Stuart Lubbock, it annoys me when they use the word "party" when you only have six people there, who know what happened.
In this case, Mark Blanco was thrown out of a flat, returned to said flat and then landed on the pavement a minute later. A witness hearing shouting. A thug admitting he did it. Three men running from the scene. It's infuriating.

The initial police investigation was slipshod: they did not seal off the scene for forensics and failed to tell the coroner of Roundhill's punches or of how Headlock had walked into Bethnal Green police station and confessed to killing Blanco – a confession he had also made to others and which he subsequently retracted, saying he was under stress.
Detective Inspector Mark Dunne told Mrs Blanco he was "98% certain" the case was a suicide – his brother had died in the same way. An internal police investigation later concluded Dunne was trying to empathise with the family and this had not clouded his judgment.

This was reported on 9 years ago, I can't believe Dunne has gone from DI to DCI and gets to no comment.

Three people, sorry. Pete, his gf, his bodyguard/bouncer.

I listened to a podcast on this and def think mark roundhill did it...he already admitted assaulting Marc earlier on.

Pete Doherty is a dirty, grimy, druggie and his behaviour immediately afterwards and then thrashing his hotel room is appalling.

Disgusting incompetence from the police.

I’ve always been really interested in this case. I’ll give it a watch later.

Paul roundhill. In a news interview at the time, Paul said he set fire to Mark’s hat and I think he said he punched him twice.
there’s another very hard to find movie which shows another of Pete’s friends either punch or headbutt a guy who was annoying Pete.
tgis guy seemed quite similar to blanco in appearance and in appearing to be quite naive and hugely out of his depth.

Paul roundhiill is extremely active on social media and is currently doing a LOT of Pete related posts (not always under his own name!)

The alleged grass was Paul Roundhill, whose flat they were in. The person who I have it on good authority threw the victim out the window, was Doherty's minder Johnny 'headlock' Jeannevol. He's the one that confessed to the crime at the police station but later retracted his statement, saying he was on cocaine.

I am in little doubt that both Doherty and Roundhill know this is what happened but have kept quiet about it. The Met are a disgrace for not investigating thoroughly and allowing someone who confessed to the murder to just get away, due to the reasons he gave!

'Good authority ?' - that was what the whole documentary was about.
