One of the first national news stories I remember. I am the same age and had a very similar upbringing to Josie so it hit home in a way when I was a kid that no other news stories had before. It was so, so tragic. Has anyone else watched this new documentary on Sky?
It was really interesting (that is not the right word but random victims in a rural setting is so incredibly scary and had/has a huge effect on people) and gave a lot of information.
It did feel at times like the film makers supported Stone's innocence but they didn't gloss over his abhorrent past. The very sight/mention of Bellfield makes me feel so repulsed and he absolutely was capable but also probable he is winding police/court/public up with his confession and he doesn't have form for taking on multiple victims/children.
I'm very glad neither of them are free (despite who did it) but still no true answer. No confession from Stone and no evidence from Bellfield.
