Anyone watching? We've watched the first two eps tonight. Really enjoying it - set in 1990, loads of good 80s/90s tunes, lots of nostalgia.

Conleth Hill is an absolute joy , so so funny in this. His facial expressions and mannerisms had me in tears - not a single scene wasted.

I’ve watched all 6 now.
Part of the ending was surprising and definitely leaves room for another series.
I quite enjoyed it

Watched them all now , I hope they do another series . Love the Slater brothers .

Only just dipping into this. Looks right my street. I loved Car Share, anyway.

On ep #5 now, and loving it. Funny as fuck, best comedy I've seen in ages. So many great lines! 😀

the music is a bit out datewise - I'm loving it, but it's all over the place! Teardrop Explodes, then raves....

Bit pissed off that she justified a 25yr affair & not speaking to her sister because "she got pregnant & trapped him & he was decent enough to marry her".

Well, last nights one wasn’t as good , but there were a few funny lines. Bit disappointing, plus how isn’t Parker in prison for fraud for pretending to be dead ?
Did the company get signed over to that business man? Maybe I need to rewatch series one , last episode.

I do like the music, although a lot of it is 80s rather than 90s!

I love this, but I am with you 80s I can't remember exactly how the first series ended so maybe I need to go back and rewatch the last episode.

shelling, I recall a fire in the shop and the sisters making up, but they all seem to think Parker is dead ( well some of them do ) .. I know it’s not real , but someone would dobb me in if I tried this one for the insurance money ! Lol
They did a quick recap , but it was blink and you’d miss it and didn’t make it clear.

I remembered that I liked it the first time around, so watched episode 1 of the new series, but could only half-remember stuff so have now watched the whole of the first series all over again! It certainly clarified things so I'm now looking forward to the rest of it.

Thanks 80s! I think I will have to rewatch the first series as I've forgotten so much of it.

Yeah I need to rewatch the first series before I can watch this one. If only things like work, housework and keeping the kids fed didn't keep me too bloody busy!

I watched the last three episodes of the first series so this series makes sense now. I had forgotten Sandy from the first series.
80s you're right that the music is 80s. In the last episode of Series 1 they show the dad being thrilled about Margaret Thatcher resigning, so it was set in 1990 (she went in the November).

I have only seen two of this new series and I am a bit disappointed that it’s not as good as the first one ( despite a good soundtrack )
Maybe it gets better , but I’m not rushing to watch it like I did before.

@the80sweregreat The first series was better but I think that's because it was setting up the characters. This one has more of a story building I feel

Anything that Rosie Cavaliero is in is fine by me! She's probably my favourite actor - does a lot of radio work too, at which she excels.

Anyone still watching? I just watched episode 3 and have to say was really disappointed with the turn it's taken. Not sure if I'll bother watching the rest.
