Am I right in thinking he said at some point that he's never lived with anyone? I wonder if he's ever really been in love?

Bluetrews25 · 01/05/2023 20:04

Gosh Leyton
He just needs to let love in. After that emotional scene, there will be a queue of women around the block.

dapsnotplimsolls · 01/05/2023 20:04

Leap of faith, Layton, leap of faith.

Callmejudith · 01/05/2023 20:04

Come on Leyton! I really think they love each other

Callmejudith · 01/05/2023 20:05

I also loved how Mel wore his clothes during the swap

murasaki · 01/05/2023 20:05

I think he might say yes amd her no now.

RegainingTheWill2023 · 01/05/2023 20:08

I think they really care about each other too! The faults don't just lie with Layton though. We've all said it so much - they need proper counselling as a couple.
I think they will commit to each other but unless they both learn to communicate better it wont last.

dapsnotplimsolls · 01/05/2023 20:09

Yes, I hope they both say yes and sign up to actual proper counselling asap.

PSNonsense · 01/05/2023 20:10

Such a filler episode. Just get on with it!

Villagetoraiseachild · 01/05/2023 20:10

Melinda doesn't do ugly crying.

katemulberrybush · 01/05/2023 20:10

This show is boring tonight

Dragging it out too much

I'm wondering how many of these these relationships could have worked oot with couple counselling once a week during the experiment.
For sure some of them are simply incompatible, while others just struggling in their stuck patterns with minimal support.

Totally agree with this.
I’m sure one series they had the ixperts. Is it the couples at the apartments, to go through issues like poor communication, to help them.

dapsnotplimsolls · 01/05/2023 20:11

I might have to mute Alyssa. A lot.

VooVooV · 01/05/2023 20:13

I agree - far too much padding.
They could’ve done all the final vows in one episode, without all this guff.

Bluetrews25 · 01/05/2023 20:13

Let's all remember that this is an entertainment TV show. It's to entertain. It's not to set people up with their life partner as a first priority! (I know I forget )

Honeyroar · 01/05/2023 20:14

I think Layton is refreshingly honest about his feelings , and has strong principles.. She jumps about, is hot and cold. They’re just far too different.

Sunbird24 · 01/05/2023 20:14

I’m watching Masterchef and just flipping back over occasionally

determinedtomakethiswork · 01/05/2023 20:14

I'm really bored in this episode. I completely agree about the counselling. I think they should've had a couple of individual sessions and a joint session every week.

determinedtomakethiswork · 01/05/2023 20:15

And not from those so-called experts either!

Bluetrews25 · 01/05/2023 20:17

Spot the 'however' coming up in each speech! Where it all turns around.

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 01/05/2023 20:18

I just want them to meet halfway. You don’t get upset if you don’t care

Bluetrews25 · 01/05/2023 20:22

Oh look at them both

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 01/05/2023 20:22

I’m actually crying

happinessischocolate · 01/05/2023 20:22

Bluetrews25 · 01/05/2023 20:17

I do t think Layton would go along with that bull shut

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 01/05/2023 20:22

I am a sad sack
