I think his feelings are 100% genuine and therefore he won't declare them on a fake tv programme.

Risking getting hurt is one thing, declaring your feelings for public consumption is another.

Whatever his reason for originally going on the show, I don't think he expected to fall in love. And now he has.

The 'attack' on Harrison was on Gogglebox tonight - it was like watching these threads come to life!

There should be a new series for the ones who’ve had a raw deal Hugo, Josh, Duncan, Lyndall, Sandy, Janelle & Caitlin. Probably others I haven’t thought of. If they’re short of candidates there’s always the previous series to pick from.

Maybe the ixperts will do better then.

I'd love them to do a series where they matched previous contestants together. Can you imagine Harrison with Olivia for example? The possibilities are endless..!😂

I think he is a lovely, balanced man, but I don't find him attractive in the slightest. That is possible, we're all different!

They have to pick some stereotypes to keep the MAFS formula going. If it was all Ollie and Tahnee, no one would watch 35 episodes.

If nothing else, hopefully some of the audience will look at the red flag exposures and end similar real life relationships. Otherwise it is all a bit tragic.

More than anyone, Lyndall didn’t deserve the emotionally-stunted Cam after years of thinking she’d never be able to have a long term relationship - or life - then accessing the wonderful drug which changed things for her. She went in with such high hopes. She seems such a good, honest and kind person. She deserves a lovely man.

I wonder what Cam’s dad is like and how their relationship works. Cam needs therapy but ironically, he’s probably the last person there to ever consider it.

Harrison could easily make a living now playing pantomime baddies. I wonder how his life is panning out now. I mean, who would agree to go out with him after a little research even if they hadn’t watched the series?

They are not experts. The track record is very poor (maybe one a season in last few)

The USA version with only 3 couples a time does have good odds but that matched local people and is legally binding marriages.

I agree that Cam could do with some therapy - his mother's a horror and he gave the impression that there wasn't much affection around when he was growing up. I wonder if he moved to Darwin to get away from them.

I'd like to know how the experts thought Alyssa could manage a relationship. Did she say she would move a random man into her home after the 'experiment'? Did she explain that she'd only see them when she didn't have her DC with her?
The experts were very quick to say Cam had said he wanted to move away from remote working and wanted to settle down. But they haven't explained how they expected Alyssa's relationship to work when she has a young DC. Either her parameters changed or the experts knew she was only ever offering a part-time relationship. I do wonder if that's why they paired her with someone who lived so close - because they could then have regular, sneaky meet-ups without the child.

I've been thinking this. My knowledge of Australian geography has massively improved after watching this 😆, and surely there have been enough applicants to be able to match Perth people, East Coast people etc. Expecting people to commit to relocating 1000's of miles away from family and friends after just a few weeks is really unreasonable and unrealistic.

Ollie's lovely. He's got a great outlook on life, has a brilliant sense of humour and he makes Tahnee laugh. Dh and I are 30+ years in now and we have a good laugh together at all sorts of daft things and I think that's really held us together through difficult times.

Duncan is nice to look at but we haven't seen a lot of personality. Maybe there's a lot more to him and he's not himself with Alyssa.

I’ve only watched two previews series a couple of years ago, but I remember one guy being matched with a complete nutter and having a hard time (he was older, perhaps called john?) and when he came back with someone nicer he turned out to be the awkward one that time. It’s not always black and white, we are only shown a few minutes in total for each couple out of a week’s filming..

Firefighter maybe? Was matched to a lady who dissapared on first night post wedding (she had a kid I think!!)

Then a younger female contestant who was matched with a seemingly okay bloke, they split in weeks 4/5 but for some reason she was allowed back saying she fancied Joansie (his surname was Jones).

They were allowed and then he made the fatal error of trying to kiss her at a picnic and maybe indicating on a boys night that he liked her fairly large bosoms! She dumped him in a huff!

Was Andrew Jones first with Lauren then Cheryl who was with Jonathan.

Andre also indicated Cheryl was a bit thick

Jonesy was like Josh for me. Everyone loved them but they made me uncomfortable.

Ollie would be living his best life at the Butlins 80s weekend 😂
