How ridiculous is Cobra Kai?

It’s just so stupid!! I mean, I know Karate kid was cheesy but Cobra Kai is beyond ridiculous. A whole town being obsessed with karate, grown men getting into constant karate fights over some competition that happened when they were kids 30 years ago … every kid in “the valley” being an expert in karate despite only having a few lessons? Private planes of “evil sensei” arriving to black limos … a man in his 40s not knowing how to use the internet because he’s too cool? it’s cringy! But I need to know how it pans out 😂

Oh, it's absolutely ridiculous.... and completely brilliant!! I love it, I like that they have a nod to how ridiculous it is at times, usually through dialogue from Daniel's wife (Amanda?)

Definitely worth sticking with!!

@PicklesAndTequila you can manually change your username in the Your username box now, to any name that's yours. I think you used to have to do that through settings before.

I love CK 😍🥋🥰 (but I will admit I am finding the current series cringier than ever, and it's taking me longer to watch it).

I absolutely love this show and don't care how ridiculous the last season was. I wonder how many more seasons there will be, hopefully another two at least.

Loved the first series, it was so clever, but when it got crazy violent and Manuel got put in a wheelchair etc I didn’t enjoy watching it anymore. It seemed to suddenly become very nasty, such a shame.

Same! The 4th was my favourite 🙈 but this one I stopped at episode 4 and haven't started back.

That being said there's something nostalgic about the cheese, reminds me of every 80s/90s show.

Love Johnny though!

I love it. Agree that the latest series isn't as good but the first series I can happily watch over and over. And yes Johnny is lovely.
