If any of the lads came in now they would be seen as good guys. If Casey had come in there would have been lots of love and wishes he come in sooner. Keenan knows he’s on a mini break holiday, he knew that before he even entered he had little options if Claudia wasn’t interested. Can’t tell what Keenan would have been like if he’d been an original

Have they all forgotten how sweet and nice Jessie has been the whole time? And now all ganging up…because she ‘voiced an opinion’ (in a sweet restrained way) God forbid she might have an opinion that might slightly criticise the moody charmless Casey… absolute bunch of snakes and bullies.

Absolutely this. Jessie DARED to speak yo Casey for 5mins. Shock horror. So he went on and on and on and on about how fake and horrible she is and got the whole villa to gang up on her. They are a bunch of horrible snakes. I actually didn't see Will jumping to Jessie's defence either and Samie is really not that nice. She talks to Jessie/Claudia and then goes to Casey and laughs with him about it.

XelaM · 01/03/2023 08:52

I don't understand how people on this thread can be ok with the whole villa ganging up on and bitching behind Jessie's back. It was really uncomfortable viewing last night and I can't wait for Casey to be evicted!!!!

Boulshired · 01/03/2023 08:58

I just feel very uncomfortable when the bitching is so widespread, it’s why I don’t mind that they don’t pull Olivia up as whilst I don’t like her I do see a vulnerable woman. It may also be that my DD watched LI season 2 at Christmas and seeing the villa turn on Sophie with only Tina left speaking to her was hard to watch. I didn’t agree with Jessie going to Casey but she went to him, she didn’t start with all the other islanders

FiloPasty · 01/03/2023 10:16

I just watched the last 5 minutes urgh, agree this is the worst ever season. So unlikeable.

Im hoping that it’s Olivia & Maxwell, Rosie & Casey going. Hopefully Claudia and Keenan will get some votes to stay.

TitsInAbsentia · 28/02/2023 11:47

Claudia is being a whiny crying baby and I can't believe none of the girls have told her to move on and at least have a few days of fun before she gets sent packing. But also the lads needed to have told Casey earlier get on and tell Claudia. Actually if I were Casey I'd have just run and face planted that pie to take away some of her fun

I like that Liv at least got one pie 🤓but I like even more that Kai didn't even give her the time of day....I suspect the 'actress' (my apologies to those who have earned their equity cards with talent and hard work...I don't compare her to you).

The app poll has closed now (PLEASE LET US VOTE!!) closed at:
Maxwell 3.4%
Casey 5.2%
Shaq 8.9%
Kai 5.5%
Keanan 12.3%
Ron 14.6%
Tom 20.4%
Will 29.6%

Lana 25.5%
Claudia 21.3%
Sami 19.6%
Jessie 14.6%
Sanam 10.8%
Tanya 3.0%
Olivia 2.9%
Rosie 1.2%

So couples:
5.3 Olivia and Maxwell
6.7 Casey and Rosie
11.9 Shaq and Tanya
16.3 Kai and Sanam
33.6 Keanan and Claudia
40 Tom and Sami
40.1 Ron and Lana
44.2 Will and Jessie

JUST GIVE US A VOTE

I just wanted to quote this so we have it close to hand for tonight. I would love these to be the bottom 3 then they’d keep Tanya & Shaq I hope!

CellophaneFlower · 01/03/2023 10:33

Just caught up.

I actually don't think the producers made Jessie speak to Casey. I think she's fiercely protective over Will. I think she was involving herself purely as she wanted to put Will's side across. Casey was obviously defensive but was a bit rude, he's since apologised for this though. I no longer think Jessie is fake and Will sticking up for her has redeemed him a bit for me.

Maxwell totally shit stirred and made things worse. As if Jessie "ripped into" Casey. He's well suited to Olivia, not that they'll last long.

Rosie is also a shit stirrer. Jessie did not mention Casey's name multiple times. Not for her to stroll into the villa and start throwing her opinions of individuals about. Don't like her at all. She only wants to tell Casey about what Keanan said to make herself look in demand, absolutely no other reason.

Love Claudia. She's so not bitchy, lovely to see.

I've been saying for ages I'd like Tom and Samie to win, but it was because they were the best of a bad bunch. Now I think they deserve it. I'd still prefer Tom and Claudia together though. Keep seeing Tom as a young George Michael and can't unsee it now!

Oh and has it been mentioned why Tanya and Shaq sleep separately now? If so I missed it.

Mouldyfoodhelp · 01/03/2023 10:35

It seems odd, but I do think her initial chat with Casey was unnecessary and his initial response was OK, I do think he went overboard with it carrying on for the whole episode though.

I think its quite confusing with us only seeing them chat about how their relationships going to then when they show non relationship content it's calling out someone who seems a fan favourite, but we have seen and commented that the villa looks a bit fractured and questioned her and will so I think its natural those in the villa would have.

We have to remember there's clear producer interference and frankly without all the Jessie stuff the episode would have been 10mins long. I don't see it as much different as the boys talking about Tanya after movie night, the girls about Casey afted Claudia, Shaq after the washing up/ complaining about Tanya kissing challenge etc. There was more involved but I reckon by tonight's episode you'll see them all being friendly again and we don't know if this is the norm for the villa but we don't see it and they had no choice to show due to lack of content. Let's remember they're there to win the money and more importantly the work afterwards and part of that is seemingly being better than the rest so if you can cast doubt on them then that's a bonus for you.

CellophaneFlower · 01/03/2023 10:36

They're obviously not allowed to mention the cameras. It was interesting watching Olivia trying so hard to mention them without saying it. 😂

Me too, but unfortunately they've asked for "most compatible couple" so Claudia and Keanan will be in the bottom. Had Claudia given him at least a chance, they wouldn't have been

XelaM · 01/03/2023 11:09

I predict the bottom 3 will be Olivia & Maxwell, Claudia & Keanan and Casey & Rosie. I'm hoping Casey & Rosie go, but if the islanders get to pick it may be Claudia and Keanan going

ShinySin · 01/03/2023 11:14

Casey a misogynist?! 😂wow it might be worth a look in the dictionary for that one. He is empathetic and caring and tried to be respectful of Claudia. Yes olivia is insecure but she is weaponising that on everyone in the villa, being the definition of bad vibes. Truly foul to watch

It's so odd that people can watch the same thing and see it so differently.

Casey made a HUGE deal about Jessie daring to confront him. He went on and on and on about it to everyone, completely exaggerating what she actually said. And then he launched a campaign to say she is fake behind her back and got everyone in the villa to gang up on her (with Olivia, Ron and Maxwell of course all too willing to participate and stir even more).

I don't see that as misogynistic though. He pulled the boys up on what they said and had no issue in doing so, Jessie approached him and as he said when he apologised it just wasn't the time. If it had been anyone in the villa beside the 2 actually concerned- Tom and will I expect he would have said and acted the same. I'm not a casey fan but I'd have been annoyed by someone doing that.

Tubofroses · 01/03/2023 11:31

I also don't think he got everyone to round up on her- he said he'd heard them talking in bed (he said this to their faces too) and then it seemed to stir things others already felt. I'm uncomfortable with the way the episode was very anti Jessie but misogynistic?

ShinySin · 01/03/2023 11:33

Yeah he went about that badly, but so did she. They are both in the wrong. Calling him a misogynist based on that is laughable! Are we gonna call her a misandrist then for her OTT behaviour since movie night sticking her nose in everyone’s business and being on the attack? People can disagree, fall out, both be in the wrong and both have valid points and feelings, without resorting to this ridiculous categorisation of people as misogynists or narcissists. It cheapens those words for people who actually need them

I just don’t understand the hate for Liv - she’s clearly very insecure despite her beauty. She’s far less offensive than shit stirrer Ron and sly misogynist Casey. Film night exposed some of the more aggressive traits of the pack mentality in the men…

Ron saying about Jessie 'she's meant to be this sweet, innocent girl who sort of stays out the way of everything'

WTAF - why isn't Jessie allowed an opinion. Even if she's in the wrong she's entitled to have one.

No wonder Ron likes Lana. If that's what he wants then they are well suited.

Boulshired · 01/03/2023 11:46

I was on Casey side with the whole Ron and Lana crap I thought Ron was isolating himself from the lads. Now having seen how Casey took a 5 minute (yes inappropriate) conversation for a whole 24 hours, what was he like with Ron that wasn’t being shown. he’s has been at the centre of two splits in the villa and two contestants sat apart while group talks behind their backs.
I watched a video of Jessie in the Australian LI she was ugly crying with the snorts there was little tears, maybe she does cry with little tears.

whomoon · 01/03/2023 11:47

I’m hoping the vote tonight will be -

bottom 3 couples at risk
boys choose a girl to go
girls choose a boy to go

This is the only way to keep things interesting. Couples need to be shaken up. It’s been dull dull dull watching the same couples

Isn't his point more not that she can't have an opinion but that's been her behaviour throughout the time at the villa? I've seen on this thread people basically say how she seems essentially a bit naive considering this is her second LI experience so it's not a new view and so for her to go off piste somewhat warrants recognition that her behaviour has changed

CrkdLttrCrkdLttr · 01/03/2023 11:52

Ron saying about Jessie 'she's meant to be this sweet, innocent girl who sort of stays out the way of everything’

Ron demonstrating that he’s not only inarticulate but really quite stupid! Jessie has been on two nationally broadcast TV reality shows based on walking around virtually naked, sleeping in a mixed dormitory bed with a stranger of the opposite sex, and engaging in as much physical intimacy as the producers require - for several weeks. Just how blinking ‘innocent’ and retiring can he honestly believe her to be? Confused

I assume by ‘meant to be’ he really meant ‘presents herself as’. Which she doesn’t. Hmm He’s an idiot.

Mouldyfoodhelp · 01/03/2023 11:57

Talking about naive I don't generally look up LI stuff online except here unless there's a topic for discussion I randomly searched twitter and didn't know they did photoshoots for brands whilst in the villa?!?

That being said surely that brings more interference if ITV or the production company get a cut if one person's getting better analytics than another they'll potentially know who's more popular/ bankable and manipulate to keep them in/ out depending on a set scenario
