I’n no Casey fan but compared to what some of the others have got away with (Ron/Tanya for a start) I’m not sure why he is such a bad guy all of a sudden.

They didn't. They explained they used what had happened with him as an example, they weren't talking about him specifically. He exaggerated what was said and made out she was talking specifically about him.

Rosie was quite nasty to Keanan there. He took a risk, sharing his feelings and for her to then say she was going to run to Casey, was unpleasant.

I think because there's sweet f.a. else going on, the producers have used the Casey-Claudia thing to create a load of drama. And then set Jessie up to take the fall. It's all so nasty. Most of these people should be taking a closer look at their own behaviour before they start going after other people (and yes, I mean you Liv and Ron!!)
