I think Isaac is just pretending to go along with it but is actually still planning on exposing them

Isaac seemed like a completely different person to me. He was so earnest in the beginning, now so cynical.

I almost thought that he'd been 'swapped' in some way as he seemed robotic and a totally different person!

Why has Isaac been the one to be chosen though ? Is it because it's an experiment to prove their power to manipulate , I doubt whether they believe he's the only person who could rise to the heights they want , but he suits them for the moment ?

Last night's episode really confused me. I agree with Isaac being weird. He's acting like the character that the baddies were displaying. (Sorry can't think of another word for baddies 🤣).
