Of all the things Paul has done, I thought the 'faking he was still poorly so she would stay longer looking after him' was easily the most forgivable. I mean, it just showed how much he loved her and was scared she would go... (ignoring the controlling/manipulative element as he did it out of desperation, and it's Paul, and I'd forgive him anything if he looked at me that way )

Separate question. Did anyone else wonder if Glen threw out Jim's leather folder thing on purpose, to give Therese a get-out? I wondered if he'd finally come to realise she was still in love with paul but was too scared/proud to go back to him/leave Glen. So maybe he did it on purpose knowing she could then use that as an excuse to walk out?

Or am I reading too much into it and it just proves again that he's just a manipulative arse?

Agree. He just wanted to stop further contact between them and knew how attached Paul was to it (recently at least). He had not realised how shocked Terese would be. Glen is not that bright.
