I think Shane had invited them as he had bought 24 and wanted to show them. I'm sure there was a reference to something like that.

I definitely need to watch again and would like to see the Aussie version. Why couldn't we have the full lot. An hour, 2 hours, give us the Neighbours we deserve!!!

Just briefly watched the Aussie version from the house video watching to the ending.
There's a lot that now makes sense. I can't believe C5 cut Karl's speech about Toadie being a son and family. Also I don't recall seeing the videos telling Toadie to stay on the street.
Also Toadie asking Amy if the baby father is someone he knows.. That definitely confirms it as Joel.

Did you all notice Joel was at the wedding when he previously told Toadie and Mel that he won't be there.

Also the ice cream man is the writer Jason I believe.
I'm glad Philip Martin made an appearance, especially after the spec savers ads 😂

Ooh and the aussie version had Beth finally acknowledging her son, Ned!!

I think in the videos they did say to Toadie to stay on the street and it would be the same without him but I could be wrong as I was trying to remember who everyone was.

That was near the end at the street party. Three couples laying down under a canopy thing. Freya and levi at the front and bed/yashvi at the back. I think the other couple was chloe and elly.

Ned is there in the U.K. one during the video viewing but just in wide shots. I was waiting for a CU on him as there Beth was on screen but nothing but it’s definitely in the Aussie one.

I didn’t like how there were lots of people just there but not acknowledged. And I totally agree that I didn’t get why Scott and Charlene were there, parked badly and then suddenly no car and the wedding set up.

I’m guessing they hadn’t finalised either the wedding reception concept or the order of play when they filmed Kylie and Jason.

I thought the split balcony scene was done well.

Didnt Kylie and Jason film their scenes before the ending ended?

I honestly thought they may as well have got a cardboard cut out of Kylie. She said about 4 words, Jason acted and said more than her.
