I do think it’s a shame that Tasha’s hearing impairment hasn’t been mentioned at all- I’m not saying it should have been a massive deal and singled her out, but surely at some point she must have casually mentioned it or explained things to other islanders and it hasn’t been shown at all.
It feels like on tv people with disabilities either get to be all about their disability, representing people, look at the struggle, etc OR they don’t get acknowledged and have to be just like everyone else. There’s no room for a middle ground where we’re just whole people who sometimes have some difficulties but aren’t constant “inspirations”
