Davide showed his double-standards bitchiness by saying that EkinSu can't be trusted round newbies (a plaint that's getting a bit excessive now - beginning to look like holding a grudge or a control mechanism) and then jumped in with the new girls straight away (he could have passed and suggested Deji). And was definitely flirting.

ES looked a shadow of her former self whilst that was going on

Davide could have had the foresight to pass the baton to Deji when Dami suggested he take them for a tour. Davide is clearly open.

Dami had just been out in the bottom two so doing something like this isn't clever. Reasons could be that he is just that strategic that he wants to break them as a couple for the competition or because he wants to give ES a taste of her own medicine considering she practically threw herself at Adam to show him around the Villa.

I agree it's pretty manipulative of Davide now. ES didn't behave brilliantly with Jay but they had been seeing each other 5 minutes and he was all over half of Casa Amor.

So please don't call people ugly it's unkind.

This thread is feeling very sock puppety recently. A lot of people with almost identical opinions and ways of writing. Maybe I’m just being suspicious. Just feels a bit weird.

To be fair to them, practically every single islander that ever was is full of themselves in their VT. That's the whole point. The vast majority show they're nothing like they made out very quickly once inside the villa. Part of the game.

The whole Dami thing is weird & I think a whole lot of editing, it wasn't just him that was shocked about being on the bottom but even the rest of the cast wondered what he'd done to be there!

I had high hopes for Reece until he opened his mouth. Dear me.

The girls are very pretty but I’m not sure I can see anyone jumping ship this late in the game. And I can’t see either of the men being Danica’s one true love either. Nor either of the women going for Deji. Which is a shame as he is a king and I think he and Danica could win it in a friendship couple.

Tonight's episode was dull, and I don't really like most people in there. Just a small handful (Gemma, Danica, Indiyah, and Ekin-Su.) And Davide is OK I suppose. Not keen on any of the others. I can't stand Paige but I can't say why. Can't put my finger on it.

Wondering how I’d inject some drama to get things moving along in this terminally dull series? Maybe if they had all their resources removed and had to make their own clothes and fire for a few days?
All the beds are removed bar one and couples have to complete a series of The Krypton Factor style <shows age> tasks to win it. Everyone else has to sleep outside in the decking.
Contestants deprived of all food and water except for the swimming pool and a huge pile of leftover popcorn from movie night.
You know, really push them to the limits of becoming feral and see who is still coupled up by the end. Love Island meets Lord of the Flies vibe for the final two weeks.

Can someone explain the ubiquitous g-string bikini wearing to me please? Is this mandatory LI work-wear during the day for the women? Or is it like some sort of diminishing surface area coverage Red Queen scenario and give it a few more seasons all the women will be wearing a band aid on the bottom half and a couple of 2p pieces adhered onto the nipples to maintain the illusion of modesty?

Minimum newbies should have come in
9 30 pm and we just see unedited loads of chatter by kitchen/ fire pit anywhere. Completely unstaged.
But nope had to all be dull set up. Staged managed, written .

Danica is quite normal in the beach hut but when she’s talking to the lads she just doesn’t flow the same. It’s very strange. Maybe it’s the pressure.
I’m not sure about Deji. He came on to Danica quite strongly then after she was in the bottom two he suddenly has changed his mind about fancying her!
Maybe he thought there was a rec-coupling on the horizon and thought he’d better get in there in case he didn’t get picked.

I think it was more that he didn't want to be her absolute last choice and not get full effort tbh. Also, he probably didn't want to look like a mug again after what happened with Indiyah

The last few episodes have just reminded me how pointless the last few weeks of this show are and how I basically stop watching because nothing interesting happens as noone wants to rock their boat or make any major moves at this point.

The best that could happen is Gemma's mum comes in on family visit and Gemma picks up a vibe that she isn't sure about Luca and Gemma has an about turn.
I think Davide & Ekin are smart enough not to let anything major happen to them at this point as they will have clocked they are popular with the public having never been in bottom of votes etc.
