We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We have now agreed to watch the old BBC series of Spooks and are currently in the middle of series 2. Please join in if this grabs your attention.

To go back to eejit's dilemma. I can't do next week at all and only back on Monday 15th so why don't we do Thursdays - by my reckoning that would be 18th and 25th. Is that right?

Episode 7 eejit. Yes certainly glad that heat has passed for now at least. I am not the most mobile at the best of times but was positively stationery for those days!

I was away last week to a place (UK) I'd last been to in 1976 and we know how hot it was then. It was almost like a repeat of 1976 this time too. Everywhere was brown and scorched. It was quite a shock to come back north where the grass was green again!
