We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further sries, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are revisiting series 2 of Our Girl currently but when this has come to an end, we have agreed to start watching the old BBC series of Spooks. Please join in if this grabs your attention.

Evening, I am back in time. Made a flying visit down to Cornwall today. It was a long day but did at least include some very nice fish and chips with a sea view, ice cream, a bit of shopping and a paddle in the sea. I'm not going to be getting away anywhere this year, so it was a nice change. I've even got a bit of a red nose, so yep it definitely felt like a whirlwind little holiday.

The bomb was dodgy and failed. However, there was a bomb at the house of the Northern ireland Secretary. Gosh, this takes us back years.

So the N I Secretary was blown up and his children. Grim!

The wedding guest dress was bad enough but some of the comments were ….
lots of defences to Carmen Miranda and wearing fruit baskets on her head.
