Anyone else just binge watched this sickly sweet but ashamed to say addictive show?

I love this show, season 1 was definitely better than season 2 though!

I cannot stand Dana Sue. She is awful towards her daughter, or is it just me that just finds her unbearably strict and upright yet loose with that ex of hers. Literally she cannot act. Nor can Spears. But I'm watching to the bitter end.

Just binge watched season one and half way through season two (in my defence I've covid and am isolating). It's tripe but addictive tripe. I'm hooked!

Chris Klein is such a terrible actor. He just squints his way through scenes

Agree it’s more religious this series, and there are some moments of terrible acting and peak cheesiness…but I love it! It’s a relaxing watch. Love Helen and wish she was my bezzy mate.

Prefer Virgin River, though. They need to hurry up and get series 3 out!

I feel exactly the same. Don't like the character and the actress is not believable. The wardrobe she is given is awful too!

One thing puzzled me. How did Kyle's knee come out of the cast so quickly when Ty wore his arm cast for much longer?

I like VR too now but I find it a bit miserable at times (I just have to try and take it all not too seriously).

Loved Season 1 and am on ep 8 of season 2. The religious references are getting quite funny now, shoehorned in wherever possible. And I want to tell Helen that she should try to use the word 'yes' in place of 'amen' all the time. Helen on the karaoke was so cringey 🙈 although her wardrobe is fantastic. CeCe is stunning!

I'm confused on Helens pregnancy storyline. She was pregnant then Howie is taking about miscarriage... When did this happen???.....then she's planning IVF.

Have you missed the episode where she collapses and Erik takes her to the hospital where she sadly has a miscarriage?

Virgin River is another feel-good, wholesome series but no way as cheesy as Sweet Magnolias.

Generally, IMO, it's a better quality series.

They are a bit miserable but it is still very escapist

I’ve also just started Chesapeak shores. There are so many seasons. So hallmark.
