anyone know when this starts and who is in the line up?

i think i read that Gareth Gates and Linda Lusardi might be in it but apart from that i dont know anyone else.

must admit, whilst I still like Graeth...he doesn't look as nice as he used too....I think he will age well though, when he starts looking distinct

I thought that about Gareth. I had a massive crush on him when he was on Pop Idol (and he a 17 yo lad then - shame on me ) but whilst watching him on DOI I thought his face has changed, it's sort of scrunched up looking now. He's not as gorge as he used to be.

is it really bad at the age of 36 to fancy Gareth Gates so much

then again, it feels a little more ok now he is 23/24 than when he was 17 lol lol

I also think the Fella off GMTV is sooooooooo lovely

lol mp...I used to really fancy Gareth...and also was slightly disturbed at myself because, well, he could almost be my son, I suppose...actually he possibly could be myt son, if I had started very young, lol...
I think his haircut sort of makes his head look, well, big....he is still lovely though, and comes across really sweet, and against my dh (and myself for that matter) he is a real oilpainting

3aqnd we were talking about this at work today- what HAS he done to his face? Has his hairline receeded (accentuated by the dodgy haircut) or has he had his brow botoxed? it looked wider than I remembered & yes bigger?!!

He is very sweet though & so chuffed with himself -bless him!!

I think his forehead just looks enourmous, and bushy eyebrows, receeding hairline and loosing the teenage boy gangliness...I suppose it's a combination of things...bless him...

He is lovely, he seems like a great bloke. I really warmed to him on Pop Idol as his stammer was so bad then, and my DS1 had speech problems due to a cleft palate, so I was really rooting for Gareth, he was an inspiration to me I suppose. he's done so well to overcome that stammer. My DS has done really well too and you wouldn't really know that he used to have bad speech problems. Just the 'S' sounds catch him out now. Unfortunately his name begins with an S!

God it's easy to do I suppose....will they have a stand by this far in?? I mean the others trained for 4-6 weeks before they did week one didn't they?

Ooh yes poor love -piccies on the DOI website, they thought it was a sprain at first but it's a clean break. Didn't Andi Peters do that too in series1 ??

I watched the DOI Make Me A Star last night and apparently they are replacing Michael, but didn't reveal who with. There was footage of Michael at the hospital when he learnt the ankle was in fact broken (at first the Paramedic thought it might not be.) He was devastated and really cried. I really felt for him. He's so disappointed to be out.

Holly looked like one of those greek/roman goddess statues, lol...less boob and the dress could have been very flattering.

Must admit I missed most of tonights show, as my mum phoned just as it started and then we had dinner, and stuff....hohu,....anyone know if they will always repeat the show on the Sunday afternoon? Hadn't noticed it before today that they did.

Anyone watched the real thing....the European championship in figure skating this weekend...some absolute amazing performances...

Mummy Penguin...I didn't know, I think, that your ds was born with a cleft palate. I have a cleft lip/palate...which I think you may know....some letters are very difficult...
does your ds still have a nasal twang in his language...I still sound far to nasal for my own liking...but think it's down to their being a remaining opening in my palate somewhere....hohum...
