Yes, the smoker at Miguel and Rebecca's anniversary will be the end of KaToby. That was a pleasant enough episode but was somehow a bit lacking given that it's the final season. "The door being opened again" seemed significant. Do you think Malik and Deja will get together again later and it's their baby Deja is pregnant with in Rebecca deathbed flash forward?

I was unsure if Kevin was looking at Madison or just smiling because he was proud that he handled the twins and is more at peace with himself. The door could open again for him with any of the significant ex's. We know the door opens again for Kate.

In some ways it's a little sad that it went to the daughter & not the other son!

I wondered that too about Deja and Malik, it was mentioned twice about how things can change in the future wasn’t it.

Also, I took from Kevin’s reaction when he took the twins home to Madison that he was finally feeling more comfortable and was starting to have a clear vision of what he wanted to do.

I feel like the plot has got moving now, how long before we see a flash forward of them all in the White House?!

Is it just me that cries like a baby at the end of every episode?

I thought episode 10 was a bit dull. I want flashforwards!! No more flashbacks please

I hope it's the last we see of the pool flashbacks! They aren't even that significant. Dis we really need to see them over and over again?!

I hope it's the end of Deja & Malik (who still looks 12 to me, so it's all a bit disturbing 🤢).

Thought this episode was a bit dull. A combination of old wise Rebecca and grown-up Randall is never a good thing. Thought their conversation about him being sure he would win the Senate a bit dick-ish.

I like teenage Randall, Kate and Kevin. Those flashbacks I quite enjoy.

I don't think Kevin was looking at Maddison when he handed the babies over. I think he just felt he had achieved success at parenting!

I thought it was more of a "look at me & fall at my feet at the wondrousness of my parenting (with my family there to help!) look.

I thought Kevin's look was about the fact he'd aced parenting and he'd had the idea for the construction business with the vets. He finally felt he had direction again.

I love Randall but did find it funny that someone who had only been involved with local politics for a few years was being headhunted to run for the Senate And to suddenly throw in that he wanted to be President in the teen flashback when he'd spent most of his life working as a weather options trader/predictor or whatever his career was at the beginning

I was looking forward to this but now thinking is R&M's anniversary going to be totally overshadowed?

Hope that they do get some screen time!

I thought the Malik/ Deja split was cruel. I don't understand how they can't find a way through that where they manage to stay together, even if in different cities for a while. Randall maybe too serious and intense but surely the others could talk him into finding a way so that they don't need to split up.

onlyconnect I agree that Randall and Beth could have handled it better. They could have come to a compromise with holiday visits or 1 visit per month etc. and let the relationship "wither on the vine." I think they were right to intervene though and stop Deja moving in with Malik. Even on their "special weekend" Deja ended up cleaning up and giving Malik time to finish work. She was her mother's carer and would have ended up doing the bulk of care for Malik (and his DD) to the detriment of her own studies falling into the carer role once again. I never took to Malik .

I don't recall how the mother of his child also ended up in Boston where he is at Uni and not Philly where I thought she lived when she requested contact. I also don't get how Malik thinks getting a degree from an Ivy League Uni will help him become a chef, which isn't a job that's a good mix for being a single dad. Deja has swerved some big red flags IMHO by Randall's intervention, even if it was bit heavu handed and might mean Deja pines after Malik.

I’m not sure, I’ve been watching it on Disney+ instead as it’s on there earlier than Prime.

I think it's usually on Prime about 9am.

Just watched this week's, good episode. Looks less likely Kevin ends up with Madison though, I'm very disappointed. The Kate/Toby story is quite well done, you can see things from both sides.
