Does anyone else watch this show?

I love it, but nobody seems to know about it!

I felt quite uncharitable because when Beth told the dancer that she saw herself in her, my first thought was 'but you didn't make it as a dancer, Beth'.
It also irrationally annoyed me that Randall told the girls to remember Beth on the stage sitting with the ballerina. Beth has done so much over all the seasons. I really didn't see that as her high point.

I watched about 10 minutes of this and when I realised it was going to be about the Ballet school I read the episode recap on Vulture and went back to cleaning the house.

That whole storyline was just so boring, I don't care about Beth's teenage ballerina dreams. Like others I am interested in the here and now and the future. No more look backs please!!

There's so much they still need to cover - Toby and Kate splitting up; Kate's new relationship; Miguel and Rebecca losing touch and getting back together in the past; why Miguel isn't at Rebecca's bedside in the flash forwards; Kevin getting married; baby Jack's accident; future Deja's pregnancy; Randall's house he inherited from his mum; Kevin's twins in the future (because they should be the same age as baby Jack and Hailey but we haven't seen the twins as adults at all). Some could be resolved in one conversation but it feels like a lot especially since some of the storylines feel like they should be developed through more than one episode.

Agree that some of these episodes feel wasted. They could have covered Beth's move to her future role much quicker (or not at all, do we care?) and instead given more time to much of the info we are looking for.

However, Susan Kelechi Watson was looking stunning throughout and not too much of annoying Randal featured and no Jack so that was another plus.

It wasn't one of my favourites. I thought Kevin had a point about Thanksgiving and if Madison was on here posters would have been saying it was too soon to enmesh new man in every aspect of her babies' lives.

I wanted to love Beth's story but it didn't work for me.

Was going to say this also. I don't think it was a ridiculous request that the twins spend thanksgiving with Rebecca while she's still lucid. They both had valid thanksgiving wishes but Kevin's was presented as completely selfish and Madison's as a deserving martyr.

Beth's call to old ballet teacher also was cringe.

They are slowly evolving the breaking down of Toby and Kates marriage. I think it's good they're doing it slowly as we would have complained it came out of no where if they didn't.

I think @AnnesBrokenSlate covers my thoughts exactly. Baby Jack is obviously the new Shawn Mendes or whatever in the future and I wanna see more of his amazing house!

The thanksgiving thing was weird. Madison acknowledges that thanksgiving is particularly important to Kevin's family and she could have easily have given Kevin the twins for that on the basis that she had them for Christmas since they are very close together anyway.

I loved Beth's hair at the end, black women usually have straightened hair on tv/films so it was good to see it au naturel

Omg hated the whole ballet story!!! I'm sorry, but that girl didn't look or dance like a future prima ballerina and Beth's sob story about her ballet dream is so annoying. The only good thing was that we didn't get to see Jack.

I was totally on Kevin's side with the whole Thanksgiving thing. I don't understand why Kate wasn't?! It's completely different to the previous situation with Sophie

I didn't really pay much attention to this episode, so might have this completely wrong.

When Kevin cheated on Sophie because he was "lonely"-to me it just came across as so selfish-has he really moved on much from that??

I think Kevin has moved on over all the series. He spent all the time with Nicky. He's working at having an amicable relationship with Madison. I don't think his Thanksgiving plans were selfish. I think Madison had agreed, then changed her mind and hadn't told him.

I thought the Sophie/Thanksgiving parallel was only in so Kate could message Sophie in the present time. Thus opening up the possibility that Sophie is coming back into their lives and ending up as Kevin's wife. I'm not saying she will be his wife - just that the showrunners like to set up these 'big' questions (who marries Kevin?) and play with the audience by putting forward different options. At this rate, Zoe should show up again next week.

Yes maybe.

I think maybe the assumption that Madison would go as well.

If he wants to have the twins-fair enough.

He seems to pop in & out at will & I don't think that they have shown him doing that much with the twins without Madison.

So I don't think she was wrong to perhaps think that Kevin wouldn't be taking them on his own.

Also the staying with Kate & Toby-seems oblivious that maybe with Toby working away they (or just Toby) might like him not to be there when Toby is!

I don't really care who he marries-or if he doesn't!

I can't see that there's much attractive about being married to a Pearson!

This episode annoyed me. Surely Kevin could have taken the twins himself. Why did Madison have more of a right to spend Thanksgiving with them than him.

I just noticed on Twitter that lots of people are on Kevin's side about Thanksgiving. I can't work out if the writers meant for us to be on his side or if they expected us to support Kate and Madison?

I thought this too. He would have put the phone down long before she finished her rambling story.

I'm disappointed with this season. I definitely don't love the Pearsons as much as I did back in the day. I always liked that they were flawed as it made them real, but their flaws seem to be overriding their redeeming features these days. Still, it might mean that I'm not too sad when it ends so that will be good!

Just more things to be answered. Will Sophie come I got the scene again? What caused Kate and Tony to split? I doubt it was his use of ear pods.
And who is this Marguerite that Miguel was going to take to thanksgiving m? Have we come across her yet?

Also when did DVDs become a thing I was definitely watching videos on 1999/2000?
