Succession - does it improve?

I had high hopes for this as many recommended it on here. I'm two episodes in and bored senseless..
I watch TV to avoid the family bickering 😄 So is this just an irritating start to set the scene and I need to persist? or is this series just about bickering family members with no plot?

I absolutely love succession and am rewatching the whole lot all over again. I would say if you don’t love it by ep2 you never will. I was hooked from the start.
