Did anyone watch this? I initially thought SB was an excellent initiative but became increasingly comfortable with the sheer pressure that the children were under. In Anjit's words: "our aim is not to educate this child, it's to alleviate poverty. Each child should go on to help at least ten people". Dr George also had a massive say in the career paths that the girls took.
Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic that they had this opportunity, but I felt it was putting children (who were unable to consent to the terms and conditions) under enormous constraints and responsibilities.
