I could see Mary and Jake together actually- think they'd be a cute couple and imagine he would properly fancy her.

Speaking of Aftersun I was a bit surprised that all of the panel said Liam would be unfaithful pretty much straight away 😨

Pretty sure they were told to say that. The Aftersun producers had a clear and heavy bias towards Faye and Teddy last night.

I'm rewatching episode 1 right now.
A few observations, which are unimportant but for some reason they stood out.

Liberty was the only one who stepped forward for Jake
I'd forgotten Aaron existed 😆
Kaz's accent is...different from how she speaks now 🤔
Toby looks around 16yrs old compared to now 😆
Jake says in ep 1 that he doesn't fancy Lib, he says he doesn't want to rip her clothes off.
Poor Shannon was totally screwed over. Really unfair being booted out after 24hrs.
Why did Chloe enter the villa at the end of episode 1, when they'd all only just met? It was a sign of things to come - lots of meddling for no reason whatsoever.

Chloe speaks in a totally different voice.
Faye is really snide about Chloe's voice when she sends the voice note.

Just to add, I read some comments at Liberty's IG account on the last thread. I don't use IG, don't have an account, don't understand what it's for or why people use it BUT ...

I googled and I wish I hadn't! I can't believe a person as "naturally" (ykwim) attractive, not to mention intelligent, as Liberty would turn themselves into a fucking puppet for the likes! It's really upset me somehow.

I voted Chloe and Toby too, I like how they’ve kept it light and not bowed to the pressure of labelling things! They seem the most natural by far.

Love Tyler’s dad, what a boy! Glad Teddy’s brothers gave Faye the cold shoulder she deserved, her sister would have came across a lot better if she told her straight instead of running up her arse!

Re. Liberty's Instagram. We all know she's a lovely girl having watched her so much over the last 6 weeks. But many of her IG pictutes are photo shopped to such an extent that she is literally unrecognisable. Why the insecurity over her looks? It's sad and all too common these days.

I can't believe Faye said to her sister that she wasn't that bad in the row. What the hell would bad be for her?

When is the final? I'm a few episodes behind.

Oh I see. But literally all the young people on Instagram do this these days. So it doesn't necessarily mean that Liberty doesn't like herself.

I feel I've martyred myself somehow and not missed an episode. It'll be like banging your head against a brick wall, great when it stops.

I hope Toby and Chloe win, simply because they've provided me with the most entertainment. I feel they deserve the money for that alone!

I had to mute the TV for the arrival of Kaz's relatives because the shrieking was so painful. I like Kaz but find her over-excited shrieking at the slightest provocation really wearing and I only have to listen to it once a day. I'm surprised that her fellow islanders haven't all got bleeding ears.

I think F is completely oblivious to how she behaves towards others since it's all about her. Her comment to Lib about not being friends but not due to her just Liberty's behaviour summed her up, self absorbed. No idea how anyone could vote for her.

I think Liam will be faithful. He clearly adores Millie and was saying he will get a job closer to her and is already talking about moving in together.

Kaz & Tyler, no way. Tyler is not that into her. He sounds so self-conscious when he is speaking to her. Nothing is coming straight from the heart. At least he is saying they are not going to rush into anything, (meaning they will split up) rather than trying to pretend she is the love of his life.

Faye & Teddy, just no. She is a nightmare and her obnoxious behaviour should not be rewarded. He is either spineless or prepared to act that way to try to win the game

Yes! I can't believe they were happy to meet their potential future in-laws for the first time with their whole arse out!!!

Chloe and Toby for me too. Great fun and the series would have been crap without them.
And they didn't go down the predictable route of becoming bf and gf at their date - they either don't feel the need to label it; or they already know they're exclusive without having to say it for the cameras; or they know they're having a great holiday romance that will likely fizzle out.
