I just watched first look twice and I don't understand what was being said about the selfie?!

I think lib was saying she liked a picture because Jake looked fit and he said it was rubbish because his eyes are closed. Then she asked if he was ok and then I got a bit confused

I assume he didn’t like the pictures because they weren’t Instagram perfect so dismissed them and Liberty liked them regardless because they were cute photos and his objections made her realise he’s not in it the same way she is

That was really sad - hope she is ok. To be fair to Faye, Liberty called her to go with her, hence why she went outside to her and she did seem to genuinely care for her. I assume she called Faye as Kaz was away on her date. Poor Lib - would love for her to win on her own or in a friendship couple!

I think there must be more to it than that. Something else must be said by either Jake or Liberty. He’s done way worse and she’s not reacted like that

Yeah you could see he was getting nasty with her because HE didn't think he looked nice in it and she liked them and then he like turned on her and said it's always about you isn't it. Me me me and she looked puzzled like no I think you look fit in them babe.

@FirstTimeMommy2021 I agree he did seem to get a bit nasty. It was a bit of a confusing conversation. I feel like they cut a bit out of the middle (obviously to make us watch for yeh full story!)

Even tho Liberty can’t / won’t win I think she’ll be a massive success after.

I do think Faye was actually genuinely concerned but also just loves being in the drama centre

Bless her, it was the straw that broke the camels back, the final nail in the coffin etc you could see the actual moment that the realisation hes a self absorbed prick hit and she just broke down! Proper ugly crying too, good on her for knowing her worth!

Yeh Faye was crying. She did seem concerned. Would be nice to think she now sees what a manipulative baby she was getting ‘upset’ about compatibility (never want to hear that word again) votes when other people are having genuine relationship head fucks.

She asked if he was ok and had his confidence been knocked, he denied it but was really off. He was giving off a vibe he could barely stand her.

I think Liberty had finally realised that Jake doesn't care for her in that way. His mask has dropped so quickly now that they aren't at risk anymore. I think it's more apparent with everyone in the villa feeling more secure in their relationship, how Jake is continuing to treat her.
I'm sad to see her go through this on TV, hopefully she gets the support she needs.

That’s a good point. When they were one of yeh golden couples of the villa near the start he has no qualms making fun of her to the boys or saying he’d be open to new girls etc

Then when people finally realised he was being fake suddenly he had to put on a loving boyfriend act and now he’s managed to win lib / most of the villa / public back agin hes confident in the relationship and his mask slipped again

I really hope that
Liberty sticks with dumping him or at least watches this back so she can see what he was like not around her. She’s be wasting so much of herself in a showmance with him

Is it also because he didn’t really compliment Lib? She was saying he looked really good but he could only then talk about himself. I would expect my partner to say something along the lines off nah I look rubbish but you look amazing

When Jake was saying it's all you you you, he couldn't quite get the humour in to his voice. He's really struggling to keep the mask on.

Exactly. I think he's very jealous of her because he's worked out that the public like her but not him. And he isn't able to hide his jealousy and pretend he's into her anymore. That's what he meant by his "it's all about you, you, you" comment.

I think it's just the tipping point, I've been in similar relationships, its one thing that pushes you too far. She's been building him up, complimenting him and generally being really great towards him since the start, and all he has been back is quite cold and doing the bare minimum to keep her sweet. I agree that he probably knows they won't win now and just can't be arsed pretending anymore, but he should be up front and honest with her about it.

I don't know why people are hating Jake. I think I've missed something. What are the reasons?

Didn't like Teddy when he came in then did but since pairing up with Faye he's totally changed!!

I see Faye has genuine emotion in the trailer. However, she told Lib that they’re not friends less than 24 hours before this was filmed. Words have meaning and some people wouldn’t stand being treated by Faye this way even if they get support at other times. That doesn’t make them haters. That said, the amount of vitriol still being sent faye’s way is pretty harsh. She has issues.
