Bloody hell, that opening episode was diabolical. Almost comically bad.

Yeah it was kinda sad the way he got wrote out in the end

Boredsillyathome · 03/04/2021 18:43

Definitely agree about Steve his character deserved better

fireplaceburning · 03/04/2021 19:06

I've only watched the first 2 episodes and the main thing concerning me is whether Celia Imrie is wearing blue leather gloves or the plastic PPE ones!!!

mummywithtwokidsplusdog · 03/04/2021 19:12

I loved it! Had totally missed series 2 so was very excited to find I had series 2 and 3 to watch!

It would have been an idea to mention spoilers in the thread title. I watched last night's episode on BBC1, then popped on here and went straight to comments made from 9pm onwards. Massive spoiler, thanks so much.

If you'd read all the comments you will have seen that posting spoilers was discussed on 31st of March. At that stage nothing major had been discussed so you could have stopped reading when you got to that post 🤷‍♀️
Bsmirched · 04/04/2021 16:30

If you'd read MY post, you'd have seen that as I'd just watched the latest episode, I went straight to posts from 9pm last night. Other posts on here with spoilers clearly state it in the title so I assumed I was safe.

Poor Stevie ... even Faith wasn’t looking that hard for him 😢

emmylousings · 07/04/2021 20:32

I like the character because she's, tough, smart and a bit mental. But I find it rediculous that she always looks so glamorous and well rested despite her hectic! At least she's not constantly in massive heels now, she's got one pair of sensible shoes.

PhillipPhillop · 07/04/2021 22:26

Terrible last episode to a terrible third season. No one was out looking for Steve, that was outrageous. Has Evan's brother-in-law moved? He should have been leading the search! As someone else pointed out, how come Susan was single-handedly running the police station? As for Breeze he seemed to turn into a friend of Faith's overnight. What happened to Arthur, was he fired as childminder? Osian's case should have been wrapped up in episode 5 so then episode 6 could have concentrated on sorting out the main characters.(And a nice ending for Faith and Steve)

Itsallhere · 11/04/2021 15:35

Only on episode 3 but just came on to say I can’t stand the music in this programme, it’s so contrived

EternalOptimist7 · 11/04/2021 15:37

Not sure which series I watched but it was dreadful, really slow. And I usually like Eve Miles

MrsFin · 11/04/2021 17:51

I just watched Ep 3 on iPlayer because I missed it yesterday. Only I didn't. I watched ep 6 by mistake. I didn't realise until about 3/4 of the way through when it became obvious the story was being w was wrapped up.

Take it from me - you don't need to watch any of the episodes. Skip right to the last one. You don't miss anything important!

@JosephineDeBeauharnais

Wait, what? She’s pregnant? How do you know that? Finished it tonight, I’ve enjoyed it but the Faith character is utterly unlikeable. She’s a crap parent, rubbish friend, unreliable colleague and yet everyone adores her Hmm.
"Can you feel kicks yet" and she had large bump
Mistressinthetulips · 22/04/2021 22:11

I wish I had the level of ad hoc childcare Faith had. I know this is not the main point of the story Grin

Lineofconcepcion · 22/04/2021 22:37

The lawyer stuff didn't make sense, made all of them out to have no integrity at all. You can be struck off for leaving a file o the train and then lying about it, so I didn't think it was credible. The Osian thing was believable enough, it really can be like that, but they couldn't ake their minds up whether she was a solicitor or barrister. And I can't believe they killed,ed Steve off. I ended up quite fancying him 🙄

Italiangreyhound · 03/05/2021 22:06

@spiderlight 100% agree! Steve deserved better!

I love it, bit slow series one at the start but I fell in love with Faith and all the goings on. I actually wanted her to end up with hunky Rhashan Stone, the London copper. He definitely came under Faith's spell. Is she the only single woman in Wales!

Italiangreyhound · 03/05/2021 22:56

I hated the shoes. Always the shoes!

I hated the music but it grew on me and I ended up loving it.

I also loved the little touches like her getting her finger momentarily stuck in the grid while she was waiting to see someone. Something I would certainly do!

I loved the story with Osian, so glad it worked out for the lovely lad.
