We thought Robbo and Jas were wrong for each other and Tori should tap that ass not get the turkey baster out. Olivia and Hunter hadn't left and Bella was still missing and Leah hadn't fell for Justin but Zig had for Brodie and Mason was still alive. Ma Astoni might not live but she did and they hadn't moved away and Taffy hadnt been sent away to live with dirty dog who broke Ziggy's heart before her parents left for Italy and Robbo got Tori pregnant and Leah moved in with Justin and Jazzy married Robbo who died in a car crash after the bad guys caught him bit not before he and Jas had cared for Grace whilst Tori was in a coma and Mason died and Colby went to jail and Bella was found and Olivia and Hunter went for good and Alf's dead wife came back from the dead because he knew all along she wasn't really dead but he didn't know about her secret love child who only she can now see. And now Brodie is gone with his Scarlet woman and Ziggy has loved and dumped Dean for helping Colby hide his murder of Bella's Dad which cost Colby his marriage and now his freedom bit hey Willow will be back and so will Dean's son and there's still his sister who's pregnant with a baby Parata after picking the eldest but listing after the youngest who's now with Ziggy her house mate. And Jas is getting over Robbo but probably getting under Lewis who hates Christian who's engaged to Tori who's the mother of Grace and the step daughter of Jas. Did I miss anything? Oh back then Mas still loved John bit god knows why and now they're split up and he's with Susie who's clearly a bad 'un and set to cause strife and ruin Leah's life. Ryder's still Ryder and Roo is still single, Irene still needs to get laid.

I'm not sure what kind of man I'd pick for Maz. Someone more her age. I like that John and Irene are just mates, really good mates, and nothing has been crossed BUT I kinda think they'd be cute

So Jas if off screen in Aus now and we know Rose's guy is a terrible baddie. So do we reckon if no one dies that Cash and Rose will end together?
Also is Tane invincible? I'm glad, I like him and Flick but really how many assaults can a guy survive

Actually I'd like Maz to meet a widow with young teens / pre teens. She's be a lovely step Mom. He'd have a manual job like a gardener or a tree surgeon.

They'd bond after she found his kid crying somewhere and she looked after them u til Dad found them. Then he'd come into the dienr and see her working there and then he'd invite her to dinner to say thank you. She'd quickly move in and have lots of amazing sex (something I can't believe she had with John)

Love that storyline idea for Maz! She would really suit a busy family life 🙂

I was wondering if Cash and Rose become involved in a big police incident where one / both of their lives is at risk. Cash realises that he has proper feelings for Rose and risks his own life for hers. Jaz heard about this off camera and feels like she can't come back to the Bay...

They’re just addressing Jaz not returning in Aus at the moment: Cash has just been waiting for her to return (has the whole proposal scene set up ) but she stands him up (no explanation why yet for viewers).

Quick Q - does this thread remain on Threads I’m On for everyone else? It doesn’t for me and MNHQ are saying that’s because of the date it was started (apparently they drop off your TIO after a certain length of time 🤷🏼‍♀️) - but it started on the same date for all of us!

It's not in my TIO but tbh I rarely use TIO, I just have this and my Neighbours threads pinned at the top of Active

I had to pin this thread in my Watching list as I kept losing it! The new update seems to have brought more problems than solutions!

I'd like to know why so many people have left in such a short time, Ari, Mia, Ryder, Bella, Logan, Jasmine. They'll be no-one left soon!

Logan and Jas was Def linked to COVID.
Ari I'd heard was unhappy with his story arc and their interpretation of his character.
Bella and Ryder I guess have been here long enough to be end of contract and ready to try something else. They've really stopped this lot growing up due to a lack of younger ones coming behind them so I think it limits their stories really.

Mia no idea, but Chloe is following soon (I assume soon in Aus time and ages in ours)
There's the new band members which gives Theo a new arc but again they're all older.

They need a new family instead of these isolated characters

Kind of glad Chloe is going as I've never warmed to her. I liked Logan though, and Bella was a fave

I would have preferred Ari and Mia stayed to run the gym and become foster carers. Something like that. It would have been a good storyline. Chloe could have gone off to business school.

I agree they need another family with young teens to fulfill the "wayward youngsters" storylines.

I also liked Logan. He and Mack were believable and he was also believable as a medic. With Jaz gone we won't see the new head of the E D, unless they take on the tenancy of the flat above the diner!

I am so glad Chloe is going! I thought the creepy notebook vibe might’ve led to an epic showdown with her going off To The City to sort herself out, but it was totally lukewarm, I’m sorry, it’s ok, we’re all friends again, la la la, ooh Theo’s nice 🙄
Then the whole smooching Theo at every turn - so cringey 😩

We need another batch of teenagers but not sure how that will happen without the school and without anyone interested in fostering any more.

Yeah, it would need to be a new family complete, they could avoid needing to use the school set but pulling uniforms out the stores and just doing before and after school stuff, Too doing some work and maybe tutoring a kid in her spare time etc.

So glad Home and Away is still going now Neighbours is gone

I wasn't sure if the drowning girls were going to be proper characters, or were they just walk ins to make Nik realise he wants to stay?

I think they're in it long enough to cover the Bella never coming back stuff

I assume there's no such thing as triage in Aus hospitals!! And no need for a doc when the agency nurse can do it all

No healthcare crisis at Northern Districts - can't move for nurses!

I love that before Nik became a paid up lifeguard John Palmer spent his time in his office or at the diner, now he's on the beach coordinating rescues every 5 minutes 😀

I was thinking that too about a whole family coming in instead of transient characters.

I liked Ari and Mia together and Logan with Mac.

Id like you see more hospital and school stuff. But not so much of Clingy Xander.

Cash improbably survives, in the way of so many H&A characters (unless they are fated to die of cancer beautifully on a beach or similar) - he’s saved by the new doc which gives her a chance to make her mark on the Bay, I spose.
