We thought Robbo and Jas were wrong for each other and Tori should tap that ass not get the turkey baster out. Olivia and Hunter hadn't left and Bella was still missing and Leah hadn't fell for Justin but Zig had for Brodie and Mason was still alive. Ma Astoni might not live but she did and they hadn't moved away and Taffy hadnt been sent away to live with dirty dog who broke Ziggy's heart before her parents left for Italy and Robbo got Tori pregnant and Leah moved in with Justin and Jazzy married Robbo who died in a car crash after the bad guys caught him bit not before he and Jas had cared for Grace whilst Tori was in a coma and Mason died and Colby went to jail and Bella was found and Olivia and Hunter went for good and Alf's dead wife came back from the dead because he knew all along she wasn't really dead but he didn't know about her secret love child who only she can now see. And now Brodie is gone with his Scarlet woman and Ziggy has loved and dumped Dean for helping Colby hide his murder of Bella's Dad which cost Colby his marriage and now his freedom bit hey Willow will be back and so will Dean's son and there's still his sister who's pregnant with a baby Parata after picking the eldest but listing after the youngest who's now with Ziggy her house mate. And Jas is getting over Robbo but probably getting under Lewis who hates Christian who's engaged to Tori who's the mother of Grace and the step daughter of Jas. Did I miss anything? Oh back then Mas still loved John bit god knows why and now they're split up and he's with Susie who's clearly a bad 'un and set to cause strife and ruin Leah's life. Ryder's still Ryder and Roo is still single, Irene still needs to get laid.

I'm assuming something g happened irl and they had to change the script last minute. So she's ill, family emergency, they just found out she didn't get her jab etc.

I'm pretty sure she has had her jab as she's back doing book club on Instagram as normal. Hopefully it was a poorly written lead into annual leave!

I’m not surprised Bella is going but I thought the Ari-Mia unit was working well within the programme as a whole, with them living in John’s street, owning the gym - another stable family in the Bay rather than this series of transient single people/unstable couples.

I agree, it will be a shame if Ari leaves. Leah and Justin / Alf and Martha are the only steady couples, but Alf and / or Martha tend to go away regularly (I assume they have a more part time contract than some of the others).

I'd be happy if Martha left. She annoys me.

Well he hasn't been seen filming in months, the storylines are indicating he's not coming back but also night be another Sheila Canning in that a lot of the final drama might be talked about not seen so he's been sacked, walked or its covid??

Bella also hasn't been seen and her personal insta suggests she's relocated already so perhaps goes off the the US with thingy Mac got with.

You can't kill off Martha because of Alf. Her only purpose is to make him happy so she must live as long as he does. At least she's also part time

Mia owns and runs the gym with Tane anyway - don’t think Ari is anything more than an owner in name.

Ari takes the fall for Mia and Chloe when Chloe kills her father so he disappears to prison. But it’s one of those odd cases where people talk about visiting, etc but we never see him on screen again so it must have been quite an abrupt departure 🤔

I did read that he had criticised the way his character was changing from how he’d begun in the show so maybe they came to a mutual decision that it wasn’t working out 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hope those new characters inject some life into the Bay! Otherwise it’s just Alf, Irene, Leah and Marilyn chatting about the good old days!

Maybe he goes in, causes trouble and Colby gets him.

Isn't Tane and Nik doing the Hakka when they go camping to get Nik some perspective? I think he's due to lose it when Ari takes the fall.

Oh wait, I do remember reading that Ari is in hospital and Mia decides to marry him there and then because you "never know"

But still I'm sure the Hakka/camping trip is a separate thing that happens before the hospital thing.
