Big fan of scandi noir. Can generally keep up, or at least figure it out eventually. But this one has me stumped.
So many questions; but mainly - why aren't they actually, you know, coppering.... ?
Like, talking to people, and finding out stuff and then actually arresting people and things? Have I missed something crucial about Norwegian policing?
And second; are you allowed to just randomly bury people in the woods in Norway?
I'm on episode 5 and something crucial has just happened. I think. But maybe not as copper has just, sort of, wandered off!

They make Montalbano look slick, professional and cutting edge!

I just started it, it seems pretty slow. Does it get better ?

It's quite gripping, but mainly based on meaningful looks rather than actual conversations. I'm finding it hard going and think I might be insufficiently cultured.

We’re on the last episode now. I have found it pretty slow and I don’t care about any of the characters!

I loved it, this is what scandi noir should be, bleak, cold, sparse communication, murders and lots of mentally disturbed people ... and that's just the police!

I thought that it would be right up my street but didn't like it at all.

I agree with you OP - I found it very difficult to follow; who was dead, who was missing, who was a suspect, who was related to who?

And what about the woman with the long black hair? Was she a drug dealer?
I didn't actually like any of the characters, not even Hedda.

The woman with the long dark hair, Margot, was running a meth lab. I don't mind if I don't actually like characters so long as they are in some way relatable. Nice is rarely interesting.
