What to watch with DS age 7?

We always watch a programme together on Saturday evenings. Quite varied programmes, recently we've enjoyed:

Strictly Come Dancing
The Masked Singer (DS loved this!)
Worzel Gummidge
Blue Planet/other nature programmes

We've watched all the Julia Donaldson programmes but looking for something DH and I will enjoy too!

Dr Who is out as DS is v sensitive (recent attempt to watch ET ended in tears!) and I watched some of Ant and Dec Saturday night takeaway and thought it was too adult.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Spy in the Wild
Legomasters (both series on Netflix)
Merlin
Avatar (animated tv series - not the movie)
The greatest dancer
Ninja Warrier (mine adore this!)

Thank you both! Ninja warrior was a great idea, DS loved it!

Robot Wars goes down well with my 7 and 8 year old... although I do kind of live in fear they'll suddenly manage to engineer the dishwasher into an axe brandishing maniac robot or something.

Also Operation Ouch we all enjoy in this house - and it's actually come in really handy for some parts of the medical stuff on my degree to be fair!

The greatest dancer
Operation ouch
The one where they have to do an assault course in water - can't remember what it's called but my ds finds it hilarious

Thought I'd update this with some of the things we've enjoyed watching together recently, thanks for all suggestions! We've all loved:
Ninja Warrior
Total Wipeout
Greatest Dancer
Soapbox Races (found this by accident on challenge TV, it may not be called this!)
The Goes Wrong Show which is quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen.

My DSs range in age from 5 to 12, so cam be tricky to find things they all enjoy. We love Horrible Histories and Ghosts. If you can find old episodes they also loved The Cube.

Ghosts by the way isn't at all scary, it's a comedy made by the same people as Horrible Histories, very funny!
