A family accept a pay off to keep silent about the abuse their son suffered by a film producer

They will be rich beyond their dreams

But at what cost

Money can’t buy happiness

I thought that about the ending

I wanted closure

To see them fly off

Then in writing on screen to say after 3/4/6mth court case jotham pleaded guilty on all accounts of abuse and got life jail

The producers were also found guilty

Or something like that

Not very realistic. Also I became obsessed with how they bought that house and all the fixtures and fittings etc and lived that lavish lifestyle on £3million.
It mentioned that they lived in North London at the beginning. Isaac went to the local comp and continued to bike there when they moved. So a north london mansion for £3million......I don't think so.

Would you really not get your son any counselling. He only started seeing someone after he tried to kill himself.

Issac didn’t want anyone else to know

So guess talking to a counsellor would mean other knee

But yes as a parent myself I would have suggested counselling

It was good, the fact that it was so slow moving added to the depth, I cold virtually feel all the emotions. The actors were, in my opinion, excellent.

I was glad Manny didn't knife that awful producer, it would have achieved nothing and he'd have ended up in jail.

It looked as though things were going to be resolved and that justice would be done in the end. The final scene was very positive.

Still so angry at the BBC at putting this on.

Totally irresponsible.

So now all the adults are jetting off wallowing in their new found virtue AND STILL not one adult has talked about, googled and asked for information about support services for victims of child abuse.

I have no idea who wrote this, but must be someone with the moral bypass.

There has been enough press and social media coverage of the ongoing need for support for survivors of abuse.

It isn't good enough to have a link at the end for helplines.

In the same way as women have challenged sexually violence being exploitative has made (e few) media outlets reconsider plot lines, the very same should be in place for child sex abuse.

Can you imagine the impact this series would have on a child who has been abused. The will have been shown that the last thing you should do is confide in your parents or friends.

Gross.

Anyone who is a parent should complain.

Oh no have just seen the author, Levi David Addai, wrote Damilola which was one of the most moving tv plays I have ever seen. Sad

I agree, hard to believe that the writer of the superb Damilola came up with this shallow shite.

I’m two episodes in. I’m wondering how £3million has got that new house. If they’d got 30, maybe. Would they have blown the whole lot on a house?
The older brother, what’s the story there? Affair I’m assuming.
I whizzed through the playing of the phone footage as I felt grubby watching.
